yeah i know “sprite work looks better than most 3d models” isn’t a hot take but like maaaan, the kirby art style peaked in the ds era and i miss it
#not that 3d model era kirby looks bad in the slightest. on the contrary its awesome in its own right its beautiful#rtdl deluxe is one of the best looking switch games. ill say that again.#and they have done interesting things like combining it with stop motion in rainbow curse#but replaying super star ultra..... god i miss her (pixel art)#the aesthetic just peaked in that one i think it perfected the look#aside from maybe kirbys dreamland 3 i think thats my third favorite art style#also i miss when kirby's color changed with his abilities so bad. green spark kirby when will you return from the war#i get it in games where co op is a thing but when it isnt? at least give spray colors likein amazing mirror and squeak squad#oh also the amazing mirror/squeak squad style is probably my favorite kirby art style.it makes me soooo nostalgic#echoed voice
