Sunday Snippet 9/4
I didn’t think I’d be able to share anything today because all my recent writing has been for an exchange, but the anon meme gods compelled me to write 100 words of my rarest ship and I decided to post it over here instead so I neither have to anonfail nor pull from drawerfic.

It’s on another one of their aimless walks through the ramparts that Lante mentioned, casual as the breeze, “I’ve heard you’ve been working on that love ritual after all, Angel.”
Word travels through strange paths in the castle, Legna thought despairingly. The only response he could conjure was a weak, “It’s not like that.”
“Oh, really?” Lante’s sideways grin was somehow different from usual.
Again, he realized that the safest option was to agree. “Ah…” he mumbled, doing a thoroughly realistic impression of excruciating discomfort. “I didn’t want anyone to know.”
And what exactly was that smile supposed to mean?

im re reading aruosumente (again lol) and GOD the foreshadowing in the very first chapter is so good? Like, you have Legna almost dying in the same way his father died: Artian’s strange machine didn’t work properly, exploded, and its pieces flew fast enough to kill someone if one of them were to hit the head. But that’s not all! you also have the parallel of Lante saving Legna’s life, while being directly involved in Kian’s death

As you’ll see in this chapter, “Aruosumente” is actually supposed to be spelled “Alosmente.” Some sources like myanimelist have been using that instead of “Aruosumente.” But I’ll continue to use “Aruosumente” because that’s more commonly used.
