is this a dream? he can't help but wonder exactly that, as he reaches ariana's apartment. never in a million years has he ever imagined that shooting his shot would lead to this, yet here he is, hearing dogs barking from the other side of the door. as it swings open and the five foot nothing woman appears, a smile forms on cody's lips and he opens his arms for a hug. it isn't like he's the tallest of men, yet somehow it feels like he towers over her when he leans down to wrap his arms around her petite frame. he pulls back and hands her a bottle of merlot, having been raised with manners that have taught him to never show up emptyhanded. additionally it is an attempt to be a gentleman, although in reality he's far from it, "i thought was you can never have too much wine," he shrugs and waits for her to invite him inside. / @arianabctera
