As you placed a red ornament on the Diaz´s tree,you couldn´t help but be amazed by the traditions of the humans,they had a day called "Christmas" in which they celebrated the birth of a religious figure,or at least that´s what you caught when pretending to listen to Marco... It was the 24th of December,the same day you celebrated the Stump Day in Mewni,however,as last year you celebrated that(and didn´t end as well as it expected to)this year you decided to spend it with Marco and his family and learning about the human´s festivity. They decorated their whole house with gold,green and red ornaments,ribbons and a big tree with a star at the top. As Marco said,when the clock strikes midnight,a big guy dressed with red winter clothes goes around the whole world giving presents to the kids that were good this year,if they were bad,he would give them coal.

"That´s very rude coming from a big guy like him,why does he do that?"

"So kids can learn what they did wrong and be better so that next year that stuff doesn´t happen"

"Alright...but how does he give presents to the whole world in just one night?!"

"He has a sleigh pulled by reindeers that help him give all those presents"

Marco got up from the sofa were you both were sitting and walked towards the kitchen door.

"Now,I'm going to get some water and go to bed,It's almost midnight,Santa will not come if we're awake"

"What?Already going to bed?!I don't want to!"

You got up and walked towards Marco,both of you standing under the door frame.

"Can't we stay awake a little bit more?"

"Y/N I would love to,but I'm tired,tomorrow is another day"

You tried giving Marco the puppy eyes,but this time it didn't worked at all,goddamn...

"Y/N,we can pull an all nighter tomorrow,but now we really have to go to bed,I'm tired,and you're also tired"

"I'm not- *yawn* tired"

"You sure?"

You looked the other way embarrased

"I promise we'll stay awake the whole night tomorrow,I promise"

"Alright then"

You both did the pinky promise,one that couldn't break,you were about to go upstairs to your room and go to sleep,until Marco said something

"Wait Y/N,I want to tell you something"

"What is it?We're together,you can tell me anything"

Just in that moment,the clock striked midnight,it was the 25th

"Look up"

And you did you saw a little plant with some leafs and red ornaments

"It's the mistletoe,if two people are standing under it,they have to kiss in order for Santa to come"

You just blushed at Marco's statement,if that was necessary,then it should be done,at the end of the day you were a happy couple.And you did,it was a warm,gentle kiss,it tasted like the hot chocolate you both had a few minutes ago,it was...amazing.

"Merry Christmas Y/N,and happy birthday,I love you"

You then just realized that indeed it was the 25th,your birthday

"Oh Marco,I love you too,is Santa coming now?"

You both started walking upstairs meanwhile talking

"He was coming either way"

"What?"

"Yeah,the mistletoe is just a little game,you don't need to kiss someone in order for santa to come"

"What?"

"Yeah,if two people are standing under it,they just have to kiss,but I knew you wouldn't give me a kiss that easily"

"You little nacho boy,you tricked me!And I fell for it!"

"Haha,come on Y/N,you liked it"

"Well of course!But,you know you could have just asked me instead of using my nonexistent knowledge about this"

"Well,can I get a kiss then?"

Y, cuando haya terminado, lo sabrás –Daisy Jones and the Six

A la larga, si eres de mucho hablar, pierdes la cuenta de las veces que te repiten lo mucho que te gusta hablar. La mayoría de las veces no piensas que te guste hablar; solo hablas. Solamente tienes cosas que decir.

Esto ocurre mucho antes (te das cuenta antes, te lo dicen antes, lo piensas antes) si eres mujer. Durante mucho tiempo, esto significaba que estarían pendientes de lo que haces, pero solo de una forma superficial. Son conscientes de que hablas pero no les importa tanto lo que tengas que decir.

Asumes esto y eso hace que no te preguntes cosas. Hasta que te las preguntas. Una vez, en un festival de un pueblito perdido en Cáceres, una de las chicas de la organización dijo “¡acercaos las mujeres a la primera fila, no tengáis miedo!”. Y alguien comentó después: “¿¡y qué pasaría si lo hubiera dicho al revés!?”.

No se puede decir al revés. Quiero decir, es imposible invitar a los chicos a las primeras filas porque ya están ahí. Y no hace falta que se aparten, ese no es el problema. El problema es que alguno podría pensar que no están y que hay un largo camino de barro, inclemencias meteorológicas, vómitos varios y gente a la que le han robado el móvil que les impide llegar hasta allí.

En 2022, los festivales de música no tenían ni el 40% de grupos con presencia femenina. Si a alguien le sirve de algo, cuando hice mi TFG de Producción Audiovisual en 2019 el número era mucho menor. En los 5 grandes festivales de nuestro país (Medusa Sunbeach, Arenal Sound, Viñarock, Primavera Sound, Rototom Splash) la representación femenina sobre el escenario iba entre del 9% al 36%.

Cuando vi The Runaways por primera vez estaba en la universidad, la habían estrenado poco justo cuando empecé a estudiar. El recuerdo que tenía de Kristen Stewart era el de Bella, en Crepúsculo. Me pareció que seguía sin tener ni una pizca de sangre, pero Joan Jett le sentaba mucho mejor.

Por aquel entonces yo no conocía a Joan Jett. Había escuchado We love rock&roll. Fue prácticamente la primera mujer en reivindicar su espacio en el rock, la música que yo solía escuchar. Hasta ese momento ni siquiera había sido consciente que no escuchaba grupos en los que cantaran mujeres. Esas puertas me las abrieron Kristen Stewart y Dakota Fanning haciendo de Joan Jett y de Cherie Currie.

Hay una escena dentro de la película en la que JoanJettKristen entra en una tienda, pone sobre el mostrador un puñado de monedas y se lleva unos pantalones y una chupa de cuero, esa es su presentación. Y, aunque lo separe un abismo, me recordó a Marjane Satrapi en Persépolis, cuando siendo una niña va a ese mercado clandestino de música a comprar discos de rock. Entonces Michael Jackson era pecado y Abba también.

Marjane Satrapi sobrevivió a una guerra y creció sintiendo que sobraba en el mundo: Irán era todo lo que quería, pero allí no era fácil vivir. Y Occidente, el resto del mundo, no era un lugar donde la hicieran querer estar. Cuando ven que se da la mano con un chico y la detienen, su padre se lamenta: en el mismo país, cuando él tenía 15 años, podía ir de la mano con su novia sin problema. Cuando se casa a los 21, su madre llora porque la quería libre y emancipada. Cuando pones los problemas del mundo sobre la mesa evidentemente hay unos que sobresalen por encima de otros.

Marjane Satrapi vivió en unas condiciones tan duras que llegó a decir que tenían tanta ansia por ser felices que no les importaba que les hubieran quitado la libertad. Pero eso solo lo dice una vez en toda una historia en la que no siempre fue feliz pero que todo el rato intentaba ser libre.

Lo de la libertad, además, es difícil definirlo. A Marjane su abuela le exigía que se quitara el velo en casa: simbolizaba opresión, muerte, esperas, miedo. Y, sin embargo, este fin de semana me he tragado entera We Are LadyParts, una serie sobre un grupo de chicas musulmanas y británicas que forman un grupo de punk en el que cantan cosas como “llevo a Voldemort debajo del pañuelo”.

Dentro de la serie no existe la más mínima reivindicación sobre llevar o no velo, hijab, niqab, lo que sea. Amina es una apasionada de la música y está doctorándose en microbiología en la universidad. Busca marido desesperada porque todas sus amigas están prometidas aunque a sus padres les da más bien igual que se case o no, pero respetan su decisión. Lleva pañuelo. Pero yo, que no lo llevo, también veo que todas mis amigas se están casando y siento que estoy llegando tarde a algún sitio, aunque no sé a dónde.

Saira perdió a su hermana, no se lleva bien con su familia, su vida es el punk y toda su filosofía y no lleva pañuelo. Bisma se cubre la cabeza, es madre, su marido es también artista y ella se dedica a cocinar postres veganos y a escribir historias sobre la menstruación. Ayesha solo se descubre el pelo en casa, conduce un Uber y tiene horribles ataques de ira. Y Momtaz, que usa niqab, es la manager y trabaja en una tienda de lencería.

Este ojo occidental mío, limitado en sus cosas, solo se preguntó cosas sobre el pelo de estas chicas en el primer episodio. Luego, afortunadamente, me di cuenta que hacer lo que te sale del coño siempre es libertad, con pañuelo, con punk, vomitando o de cualquier otra manera.

Una vez leí una cita que decía algo así como que, mientras los hombres se repartían el mundo, a las mujeres nos dieron el amor. Toma, hija, escribe este poema mientras te caso con este tipo que tiene 20 años más que tú. Con lo brillante, luminoso y platónico que es el amor, así como concepto, es normal que ningún asunto terrenal nos pareciera interesante.

En Ropa, música, chicos, Viv Albertine cuenta que a ella solo le interesaba lo terrenal. Por avatares del destino, estuvo en esos inicios del punk británico más rabioso. Fue miembro del primer grupo de Sid Vicious antes de que este la largara porque no sabía tocar. Compró en Sex, de Vivienne Westwood, antes de que fuera prohibitivo. Se codeó con músicos, se coló en garitos, huyó de los skins. Y, muy lejos del final, fundó las Slit, el que sería el primer grupo femenino de punk. Era 1976, había pasado solo un año del nacimiento de The Runaways de Joan Jett.

Cuando el sueño de la música termina, Viv se aferra a un deseo de ser madre que no sabe de donde sale. Y no puede evitar pensar si la maternidad es algo que se ha negado así misma, recordando el aborto al que se sometió de joven. Cuando abortó no sabía que querría ser madre más adelante. Pero sabía que no tenía forma de atender a un niño. Tampoco sabría que el cáncer de cuello de útero se cruzaría en su camino.

La historia termina bien, ¿eh? Consigue ser madre, se recupera de la enfermedad. De alguna manera vuelve a la música y durante el tiempo en el que no lo hace le va bien en televisión. Vivió rápido, fue inteligente y tuvo suerte, así que no hay cadáver al que llorar.

Empecé hablando de hablar y empecé hablando. Y empecé escuchando las más de dos horas de disco que ha parido Taylor Swift, The tortured poets department. Un puñado de canciones que me gustan (porque suenan a Folklore y a Evermore) y en las que sabes que siempre hay un malo al que querer quemar.

En thanK you aIMee dice “And so I changed your name and any real defining clues and one day, your kid comes home singin' a song that only us two is gonna know is about you”. Algo así como “he cambiado tu nombre y todas las pistas decisivas y un día, tu hijo llegará a casa cantando una canción que solo nosotras dos sabemos que va sobre ti”.

Todo el mundo sabe que va sobre Kim Kardashian y todo ese drama que ahora mismo no tiene sentido recordar y que tiene más que ver con el penco aquel con el que estuvo casada. De verdad que no hay una sola persona que pueda ignorar que va sobre Kim Kardashian. Es evidente, probablemente también para los hijos de Kim.

Volviendo a aquella habitación de residencia universitaria en la que descubrí a Joan Jett gracias a una peli que no tanta gente vio, por aquel entonces no quería escuchar a Taylor Swift. Aunque de aquellas era una diva del country, lo cierto es que no me gustaba que lo rajara todo. Porque si algo la caracteriza es su gusto por compartir con el mundo con escaso disimulo todos y cada uno de sus pesares.

Rentabiliza las rupturas, se abre como un libro abierto (aunque actúa como si no supiéramos nada) y ya no me parece fatal. Ya no me parece mal que Taylor Swift cuente todas y cada una de sus movidas y que a nosotros nos de cotilleo y música y que ella se llene los bolsillos. Porque su dolor es suyo, su rabia es suya y su dinero (que paga la independencia que la mamá de Marjane Satrapi soñaba para su hija) también es suyo.

(Quiero decir; el último payaso que me hizo llorar mucho sigue en su casa tan tranquilo mientras a mi se me cayó tanto pelo que ahora solo pienso en tomar Olistic).

No sé qué es la libertad, no sé qué he venido aquí a decir. Pero me da pena haber esperado a los 19 para empezar a escuchar mujeres, me da pena ir a festivales (sobre todo a aquellos que van de revolucionarios y antisistemas) y no ver a mujeres sobre el escenario y, sobre todo, me da rabia que me digan que hablo mucho cuando solo digo, ni más ni menos, que lo que me sale del coño.

Tampoco hay aquí más drama.

Ludovico Einaudi "In A Time Lapse Reimagined", al Teatro del Verde a Milano Tradizione vuole che dal 2015 Ludovico Einaudi chiuda l'anno musicale al Teatro Dal Verme di Milano con una serie di concerti consecutivi che ogni dicembre fanno registrare il tutto esaurito, segno che l'appuntamento milanese è molto atteso e sentito, come un incontro speciale tra l'artista e il suo pubblico. I concerti annunciati in Sala Grande quest'anno sono 17, numero ancora in crescita rispetto agli anni precedenti, compresi tra il 30 novembre e il 20 dicembre. Nel decennale di "In A Time Lapse", uno dei suoi dischi più significativi e amati, Ludovico Einaudi tornerà su quelle tracce per immaginarle in una nuova maniera e con un nuovo organico strumentale. Insieme ad Einaudi al pianoforte, suoneranno Federico Mecozzi, violino e viola, Redi Hasa, violoncello e violoncello elettrico, Rocco Nigro, fisarmonica, Alberto Fabris, basso elettrico e basso synth, Sebastiano De Gennaro, percussioni, Gianluca Mancini, live electronics e il polistrumentista Francesco Arcuri. Strettamente connessa a "In A Time Lapse" è l'installazione Walden, ideata da Einaudi, con le musiche originali di Ludovico Einaudi e i testi tratti dal "Journal" di Henry David Thoreau, libro seminale della consapevolezza ambientalista. La sensibilità e l'impegno di Einaudi per le tematiche ambientali sono di antica data. I testi sono recitati da Jonathan Moore, le scene e le luci sono di Francesco Trambaioli, il sound design è opera di Milo Benericetti e Paolo Giudici. Ecco come il compositore presenta l'installazione: "Walden è un'installazione che rende omaggio a Henry David Thoreau, filosofo, scrittore e poeta americano che già ai primi dell'Ottocento rifletteva su temi di grande attualità, il consumismo della società, l'ecologia e il rapporto dell'uomo con l'ambiente. Nel 2013, mentre scrivevo e registravo il mio album In a Time Lapse, avevo sempre con me i suoi Diari, come libro di riferimento, guida spirituale e poetica. Le riflessioni quotidiane di Thoreau sulla Natura, sul tempo, sul senso della vita, sono state e continuano ad essere una grande fonte di ispirazione e saggezza" Walden avrà luogo nella Sala Piccola del Dal Verme nei giorni corrispondenti ai concerti. L'installazione ha una durata di 15 minuti, con accesso ogni 20 minuti. Feld Entertainment, proprietaria del "Greatest Show on Earth", ha rivelato all'Associated Press cosa può aspettarsi il pubblico dall'imminente tour nordamericano del 2023 che inizierà questo autunno. I 75 artisti provenienti da 18 paesi includeranno artisti su un cavo triangolare alto 25 piedi da terra, trapezisti volanti incrociati, una doppia ruota rotante alimentata da acrobati e bici da trail BMX, monociclisti e skateboarder che fanno salti mortali e acrobazie.

Il tour prende il via a Bossier City, in Louisiana, dal 29 settembre all'ottobre. Poi prosegue in Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Maryland, Michigan, Indiana e chiude l'anno in Oklahoma. Riparte nel 2024 in Florida, sede della Feld Entertainment. Lo spettacolo è un completo ripensamento del circo moderno. Feld Entertainment negli ultimi quattro anni ha lavorato su tutto, da come integrare i clown, al marchio e al merchandising.

“Sapevamo che saremmo tornati. Non sapevamo esattamente come", afferma Kenneth Feld, presidente e amministratore delegato di Feld Entertainment. “Ci è voluto molto tempo per approfondire e rivedere Ringling. È diventata una re-immaginazione, un ripensamento di come lo avremmo fatto.

“Non è sostituibile l'intrattenimento dal vivo. Non è possibile ottenere una risposta emotiva dalle persone che guardano uno schermo bidimensionale come è possibile quando stanno vivendo "Il più grande spettacolo del mondo" o qualsiasi tipo di intrattenimento dal vivo", afferma Feld.

Il nuovo design di produzione comprende scale mobili e due palchi principali. Il pubblico avrà una visione a 360 gradi con feed di telecamere dal vivo e realtà virtuale, luci e sound design che seguono i performer. L'ANTICIPAZIONE DI FELD A MONTE CARLO L'ultima edizione del Festival di Monte Carlo ha riservato, tra gli eventi collaterali, un'occasione particolare ed esclusiva per conoscere gli imminenti sviluppi del nuovo progetto artistico marchiato Ringling che si appresta a debuttare nel mese di settembre. In seno agli incontri organizzati dalla Federation Mondial du Cirque, infatti, presso l'Hotel Marriot il direttore generale Kenneth Feld instervistato da Chris Berry ha presentato l'edizione rinnovata dello show statunitense il cui ritorno nelle arene americane è ormai imminente al punto che è aperta la biglietteria ed è stata resa pubblica la tournée. Pur non entrando nel dettaglio dello spettacolo, ci ha tenuto a sottolineare alcune caratteristiche generali che caratterizzeranno il nuovo corso che proporrà un Ringling “diverso”, senza animali, ma continuerà ad essere uno show destinato alle arene, alle famiglie, immersivo, multinediale e interattivo.
