Fished the TM championship on Lake Champlain this weekend. Ironically with all the times fished on Champ over the years we have only fished it with events in June and July so it was my first fall experience on the water.

We had a difficult time locating the larger fish. Found quantity but not quality. Managed bout 16 lbs both days (and a shoe and some drum), which isn't going to cut it on that body of water. Another day...another learning experience.

Well had the first tournament of 2019 season. I had a great 45 minutes. It was tuff real tuff. Didn't get my first keeper till almost 2pm. Then God blessed me and had the best 45 min. ever. 2 over 7lbs 1 at 5lbs and another 2 keepers ended up over 22lbs. Almost gave up but something told me don't.
