im really enjoying seeing how hes slowly becoming his own person yk not just dirk's autoresponder i think he could become one of my favourite characters :3

I already draw some of my trolls with chitin plating, but I came across @archadoodle's style and I absolutely had to see how it would look on my plated trolls! Given the headcanons for the particular timeline, it only works on the older adults, but that still works out just fine. I enjoyed drawing it like this actually, and I like the nose style a lot better than the more complicated noses that i struggle drawing.

Anyway here's Volt, with his blood color scandalously on display thanks to the plating.
