I especially avoid the fandom spaces for things I love because (Disclaimer there is always cool and brilliant fan content and analysis out there of course. But) it's often so saturated with ppl and posts where I'm like. Ah they aren't even a fan of the thing itself anymore they just like the communally watered down, game-of-telephone, warped funhouse mirror version of it
