ok day 1 of using a mobility aid (a cane!), anybody with experience have advice? any help or words of wisdom are appreciated!
#ngl I feel a little foolish like I know it genuinely helps and I’ve seen ppl say lots of ppl delay using aids bc they feel they’re not#disabled enough but despite knowing that I feel like idk if I can do this in public even tho I cannot walk properly lol or without#a lot of discomfort#at least on some days on other days I can make it but today I feel awful#anyway using my literal grandmother’s cane that she doesn’t even use LOLLLL i love being 22 but we’re gonna go out and get me one#also boosts appreciated sm like I genuinely am so new to this & a littttlleeee emotional abt it
