#any other oc weapons are too unique and there's no close replacements in this game

So yesterday I went to play at the old habitat* and tried out DW5 Empires again. (* personal code word to refer to Res' family house)
Now behold the DW5 version of my Chinese OCs! ...Not all of them, though, and since I haven't unlocked all the outfits, some (or all) of them don't look as originally intended. Good thing I didn't save them, though.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Li Zhen here looks really cute despite her hair not looking the same, but hey, at least she's still got her signature twin buns. The "Innocent" voice type actually sounds either very cutesy-shy or childish, but it fits her more than the more fiery "Spirited" type, so I just went along with that. Another mistake I made here is that the flowers on her head were supposed to be red.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lin Shen, my Mo Dao Zu Shi OC. I got really confused about her weapon since in the story she's in, she mainly uses magic and wields a book (spell tome?) that she writes on and recites her magic from. So I just went with Zhang Liao's pole blade, and maybe she'll get this weapon too in her own story. Her voice type is "Relaxed", it sounds pretty deep although its icon has Zhenji's silhouette (who has a sultry voice instead of deep).
Speaking of Lin Shen, I also made her in DW5XL for Xtreme Mode (because who would be her mentor in Destiny Mode?). I made sure she never recruited anyone as ally due to her canon nature as a lone wolf. That had a bad effect of her being easily offed because there's nobody to protect her. Seems I need to show some mercy to her...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Next, Yi Bao. I don't remember if there's any armour-ish outfit for female edits; she looks a bit weird in this one, as opposed to her full-armoured appearance in SoulCalibur. Here she looks more like a wanderer than soldier. I also had problems with whose sword moveset she should use, and decided on Sun Quan's although it looks very unfitting to her; she should've had Zhou Yu's moveset instead, it has a better stance. Like Lin Shen, her voice type is "Relaxed".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Zhang Xia (aka Yi Bao's maid). It's not the correct outfit and hairstyle for her, but at least she has the correct weapon : Diaochan's dual mace. I'll remake her when I unlock the other outfit because honestly, she doesn't look good in this one. I went with "Spirited" for her voice type since despite her scaredy-cat nature, her original voice indicates a lot of enthusiasm.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Last one is Yi Jiu, my Ravages of Time OC. Like I said before, I haven't unlocked the other outfits yet, so here she looks extremely different from what I intend her to be. I have no qualms about her hairstyle, but her face looks not as feminine; it looks pretty sinister while she actually sports a rather innocent, but whimsical look on her face. I went with Jiang Wei's trident spear for her weapon because so far, I don't have any spear-wielding girl, right? (Aoyama Shun doesn't count) And like Zhang Xia, her voice type is "Spirited"; it's just pitch perfect as she is a cheerful person.
I want to make the other OCs, but their weapons aren't listed here. Even Li Ren has to use a sword instead because Zhou Yu isn't using a staff before DW6. So here's a list of my other DW characters and their possible weapon movesets (or weapon changes for most) :
Zhen Pan - spear (Zhao Yun/Jiang Wei); alternatively, pike (Lü Meng) or pole blade (Guan Yu/Zhang Liao). Ma Chao and Lü Bu's movesets are too fiery for his quiet nature.
Zhen Yin/Manyue - feather fan (Zhuge Liang/Sima Yi), originally fan sword. Both are very fitting for her, considering she is the tactician of her own family. Her pranks could also count as strategy practice from another perspective... what a jerk-ass truth.
Mai Xi - scythe (Yueying), originally sickle. Simply because there's no sickle moveset and she is Li Zhen's actual successor as the plant hunter.
Mai Yong - fork and shield (Xingcai), originally dual shields. There is nobody in DW history who wields a pair of large shields, so Xingcai's weapon here is the closest Mai Yong can have.
Mai Xun - sword (Gan Ning), originally a single hooksword. The only hooksword moveset is Yue Jin's in DW8, and it's dual wield. Gan Ning's sword is the closest for Mai Xun's speedy moveset.
That's all for now. My other Chinese OCs have impossible weapons (Zhao Xiang tops this as her weapon is her smile of all possible things), so I can't include them here (yet).

FGO Mastersona Loredump
Because I am That Bitch.jpg, I’m throwing out a bunch of bullshit about my Mastersona/Gudasona/Master OC for Fate Grand Order. Also she’s currently featuring in a fanfic I’m writing, and have gotten two chapters down and posted. So uh....yeah. Trying to spur the writing brain into action. Here we go.
Placing most of this under a cut for the sake of length.
Possible trigger warning for body horror, in relation to scarring/injury.
Yori Hirata is her name and her game is....well, it’s just saving the world, really. White Hair, half up in a loose bun held together with sticks. As time goes on, slowly loses the ability to do like...any other fucking hairstyle on her own, so it’s either the sticks, or one of her servants does her hair. On that note, hasn’t really cut it much since the Grand Order started. Chaldea has many things, but a barber doesn’t seem to be one of them. Regardless, it’s the bun, or she’s laying around while the likes of Nursery Rhyme or the Dress of Heaven does something with her hair.
Eyes are golden/amber in color, and can pull out a good “you are so fucked look when in the right mood. Fair skin, but as the years go on...well, she gains scars and injuries out the fucking wazoo. Like...by the time of the Lostbelts, she’s partially blind in her right eye. And at the very least, a few fingers in her left hand have been replaced.
Additionally, because I am very much That Bitch.mp3, there’s also corruption of the Command seal! Reaching down her arm, and spreading across her back.
She is the daughter of Rin and Shirou, in a universe where FGO took place later on, and a few other things were changed. So why the white hair? Well...that’s all in gonna be in the fanfic, so no spoilers there.  But I can tell you that Rin and Shirou are currently living under false identities, and are wanted by the Mage’s Association.
First Servant pulled was Heracles. As time went on, he became part of the Buster ADATS Squad. (Codename for Anti DAT Shit Squad). Quetz and Ruler Martha are also on that squad.
Actually managed to bond with Olga Marie fairly quickly, meaning her death was even harder hitting.
Her main mystic code up until Solomon was the Mage’s Association Uniform, an implicit tribute to the late director...but it was basically burned apart in the Temple of Time. But with the poetic revenge completed, she’s at peace with that. Like it was already decaying after going through every singularity, but it definitely flew apart at the end of arc 1.
Cycles through Mystic Codes after that, has a unique Shinjuku outfit.
Her strategies can be summed in the phrase of “You’re playing Chess, I’m playing checkers” type of thinking. Stupid, direct plans that everyone thinks is too asinine to work in a million years. Singing “Ra Ra Rasputin” to put Ivan to sleep mid-battle? Might as well work.
On that topic? Sea Shanties, she adores them, sings them whenever there’s a sailor or a pirate in the vicinity. Cheers her right up, even at her lowest point. She’s built to be a swashbuckler.
Can cook, learn from her dad growing up. But for some reason Emiya hates her dad’s recipes, so her opportunities to cook are few and far between.
100% romances Mash. Took her out dancing in Babylonia one day, had a moment of realization as they twirled around. Namely, that she was in love. Had their first kiss right before rayshifting into Solomon.
Top 5 closest servants(after Mash) in no particular order: Irisviel/Dress of Heaven, Heracles, Queen of Sheba, Robin Hood, and Quetzalcoatl.
You cannot shut her up, do not attempt to shut her up, because she will bite, and yell louder. Verbally spars with Archer Gil on the regular.
She’s either 100% or 0% energy, farming with servants from down to dusk, or spending a day on the couch. No in-between.
Brash, excitable, takes on everything with an absurd glee.
Really needs therapy.
Regularly needs someone to be a parent for a minute.
Hence the bond with Iri. Has also been adopted by the Emiya clan, forcibly.
Summoned Queen of Sheba WAYYY too early(like I did IRL), to the point where she’s still calling her Midrash to this day. They had a long heart to heart and cry after Solomon.
Carries a weapon on her person, once Mash can’t be by her side 24/7.
Speaking of that, struggles to fall asleep in Shinjuku, since she’s just that used to having Mash in close proximity.
Has a music room built in Chaldea, slowly introducing servants to modern music.
Far too willing to just tackle Servants at random.
Slowly picks up a handful of magecraft tricks as time goes on. Mostly the Einzbern birds.
Just...really a chaotic tired girl who’s trying to get her overdue backpay and vacation time.
Please, give her a vacation, one that doesn’t have her in a time loop.
And that...that’s all I got, really. I do have a drawing of her I commissioned stowed away, if you’re interested! But that’s about all I can think of right now.

InkWizTober Day Twenty-One: Treasure + Summons
Welcome to day twenty-one of inktober! I wrote more about pirate101 because I Could Not Resist. I made a crew of OCs for Queen now, continuing on (this post). Tried to not accidentally mention SU characters or school gemstones in the process. Warnings for limb loss, weapon mentions, blood mention, general pirate stuff.
(link to prompt lists) (link to inktober tag)
She understands now.
The urge, the calling. Once out on the open skyways, where everything is laid out like a feast, the hunger sets in. It seems so simple, at first. Just a matter of survival. Her against the world now.
She wants. And for the first time, she can do whatever she needs to in order to get whatever she wants. She finally feels worthy of her name.
Masks become regular, a mask above a mask. A disguise of rags. One that quickly becomes a disguise of a gaudy, secretive captain. Dressed in rich blacks, draped in gold and silver, a large black hat with a broad ostrich feather dyed gold.
People mutter about her. They scatter in fear of this captain running a ship with no crew, who never drinks at pubs, who will stare with shadowed eye sockets from her mask. They wonder who and what she is. Most bets are that she’s a new rival to the young captain who had been both dominating and helping the Spiral in one swoop. Some think she’s some old legend revived by a witch doctor.
Queen is glad to know that no one suspects her. No one suspects a defective Armada puppet. Not even when she brings several haywire battle angels under her protection, giving them names and clothes and freedom like they’ve never known. They all call each other sister, and tell their tales.
No, at the closest people get is assuming she was once Valencian royalty, and got sick of the Armada. Only one of those is right.
Now when she walks its not the straight backed, aristocratic sway of a proper lady. Her left leg was destroyed by a Monquistan guard who tried to play hero. It still aches, even when replaced by the slightly shorter limb of a fallen Armada musketeer. She limps, and even that is enough for people to look away quickly, still able to pity her and feel disgusted in the same glance.
Queen loves the imperfection. It makes her more alive. It makes her feel like a pirate, battle worn.
She has stolen now. She steals and lies and cheats, even in her written notes to communicate with people outside her crew. She kills now, blood and oil and strange magics all the same when they spill under her blade. She does whatever she wants, never answering to anyone anymore.
And so she’s a pirate now. Enemy of every government. Something to be feared. Something free and living outside of any society. The power is intoxicating, but she works hard to remember to never put herself on a pedestal. Arrogance was Kane’s downfall, it could easily become hers.
Queen is humbled, however, when she and her crew finally reach the Skull Island Skyways. Every pirate here seems more vicious than they could ever be, all of them almost bored by the wanton violence. Crime is the way of life here, it is what builds every single home, what fuels every fire.
Queen feels like she’s coming home, another misfit finally finding her island. Her crew of fallen angels can only agree, all of them awed by the bright skies, the flourishing greenery, the intricate flags flying high. They’ve reached paradise.
Their ship is moderately sized, with plain black flags only depicting a delicate golden wing. A reminder of their past, what they all were meant to be. They wear black and don masks, metal bodies resistant to the heat. When they dock at Skull Island itself, they all glance at each other as if they cannot believe it.
Even Queen finds an artificial breath shuddering out of her chest, a protocol meant to quiet her gears. A majority of her old protocols were to make her quiet, unseen. She tends to ignore them gleefully now.
Her right hand, an ex-angel she gave the name Sterling, was gripping the plain wooden wheel to their ship so hard it had begun to creak in complaint. Queen gently places a hand on Sterling’s shoulder, hearing faint muffled clicks as every joint in her right hand’s body relaxes.
“Anchor down.” Queen calls, voice almost drowned by the loud sounds of ships and crews casting off or also docking. Two of her crew mates, Rhodium and Rhenium, the ones who insist on acting like twins, drop the anchor and high five, always more youthful than their sisters.
The dark wood of the deck clacks awkwardly with her limping gait, her heeled original leg sharper than the almost flat musketeer’s leg. Queen gestures for Sterling to follow, gathering her crew near the largest mast, waiting for their look out to slide down from the crow’s nest.
The crew’s lookout, given the name Malachite for her penchant for greens, slides down with ease. Her calm demeanor is betrayed by nervousness, and her hands shake under green gloves, fiddling slightly with her guns.
Malachite nods nonetheless. “No battles anywhere, seems as busy as usual.”
Rhodium and Rhenium are practically vibrating, eager to explore the island, too childish for their own good. “Let’s go then!” They say in unison, holding hands.
The crew all turns to Queen. She wants to protect them all, and her chest aches with something she has not been able to name. A dozen ex-angels, all of them lovingly named by her, named after precious and unique things, stones and metals. To remind them that they are all people now, that they have worth.
And now she had to decide if she could trust them to stay safe on an island full of pirates that would rip them to shreds if they caught wind of the clockwork hidden under baggy clothes and masks, boots and gloves and mystery.
Zircon, ever surly and combative, crosses her arms with a sharp click and, if she were able too, would surely frown. “Everyone settle down. We cannot all go at once, too many masked pirates draws attention.”
“Don’t we want that though?” Sterling asks with a quirked head. “We want to speak to Avery, after all. He would be intrigued by a new crew.”
“But they could think we were-” Malachite cuts herself off, “Well, they could assume the wrong thing. Shoot first, ask later. Then they get one of our bodies and-”
“We could take them.” Zircon scoffs. “But I still say only Captain and Sterling go.”
More of her crew chime in, Stichtite with her wild ideas, Spectrolite with the inevitable pun, Osmium trying to pick a fight with Meteorite. The others try to add their two cents, only for it to be drawn into arguments and jokes, all while Queen tries to decide.
“Okay- everyone, listen.” Queen says. And they all do, going dead silent, and it feels like a ghost ship for one dreadful second before Rhodium giggles. “So. The plan is now that I and Zircon will go to Avery. Malachite and Sterling, you go to the pub.”
Queen is proud of the way Zircon handles herself, adjusting the dangerous mace on her shoulder, not bragging as she once may have, not overcompensating. Malachite stands at attention as well, nervous energy gone now that she has a mission. Sterling is as reliable as ever at her side.
Queen continues to speak now, reassured. “Gather any intel about current events on the island, especially the young captain. Don’t make a big deal of being on my crew, but mention it. Cobalt, you are in charge of the ship while we are away, if anyone comes to talk to you, tell them to wait for our return.”
With a small nod to herself, adjusting her feathered hat, Queen holds one hand on her scabbard as she jumps ship, unbalanced on the dock. Sterling quickly follows, helping Queen regain her land legs.
Zircon and Malachite follow, and they begin to walk from the docks to the beach, all of them covered head to toe in cloth or armor, revealing only the flash of blade or the barrel of a gun.
Once Sterling and Malachite break off from the group, Zircon follows Queen closely, acting the part of loyal guard dog, staring down anyone who even thinks of grabbing the bounty on the head of her mysterious Captain.
It’s a rather high bounty, to be fair. Queen is rather proud of that fact. To not have an official name, but to be feared nonetheless, it is something that does her rogue heart proud.
They enter Avery’s Court to many stares, whispers in all accents like a rushing tide. A few people scamper, some of them off to tell others, some in fear.
Queen recognizes quite a few people who she has met in battle and thoroughly beaten. Even they leave her alone, pirate’s honor in this haven as coveted as gold, only the scum at the bottom of a yum barrel would bother attacking her now in this sanctuary.
They walk up to Captain Avery’s door and knock. This is a demonstration of fearlessness, of daring that only so few can possess. Avery is a respected man, too crafty for his own good. The pirate that bet everything and won, who made Skull Island, who guides the young captain through the Spiral, who was able to retire alive and wealthy.
Queen admires the man, but only as one can admire a leader, never as a person. She resolved to be attached to no man as soon as she realized what Kane had been turning her into.
The door opens to Captain Avery seated at a long table, sipping tea. The young pirate captain and their right hand are seated as well, looking uncomfortable. All three turn to look at her.
“I had been waiting for an opportunity to meet you, mysterious captain of the Pyrite Swan. Why don’t you and your friend come in for a spot of tea?” Avery grins, a gold tooth shining in the sunlight. “I promise we all can make it worth your while.”
When Queen sits, Zircon stands at her shoulder, mace in hand. Neither speak, and the similarly mute young captain looks confused, their face soft with baby fat and scarred by their journeys.
Zircon hands Queen a golden quill and a roll of parchment, and Queen turns to Avery, waiting for him to speak.
She can only wait to see what game they’ll be playing soon enough.

OC as companion: Fallout 2 - Carla
Find the FNV template here (not mine). Find blank FO2 template here (mine).
Basic info:
Name: Carla
Race: Human, mixed Mexican/Japanese
Gender: Female
Affiliation: the Wright family in New Reno
Role: Assistant at the Jungle Gym, prizefighter
Location: New Reno, Jungle Gym
Base SPECIAL: 9S 6P 3E 7C 5I 8A 3L
Tagged/Notable skills: Unarmed, Lockpick, Small Guns
Perks: Slayer, Bonus Move
Talking Head Y/N: Yes
Default Inventory: Leather armor, powerfist (requires ammo)
Carla is Stuart Little’s assistant at the Jungle Gym, and a renowned prizefighter. She is the final fight before the Masticator, and poses a significant threat because of her Unarmed damage. Beating her is necessary to gain the Prizefighter title. She has a good reaction to PC with Karma +100 and Wright Made Men, and has a bad reaction to Childkillers, Slavers, and Karma -100 (and will not join these characters).
In order to recruit her, one must defeat her in the ring or pass a relatively medium-level Speech check. She will join low-intelligence PC. If recruited but not defeated, a generic fighter will replace her slot in the “Become a Prizefighter” quest. She will join a PC despite any negative New Reno Reputation.
Initial Description: You see a tall muscular woman with two long braids. She looks tough.
Description after becoming a companion: You see Carla, prizefighter representing the Wright family. She bounces from foot to foot, anxiously looking at her surroundings and flexing her hands.
Comments and Floats:
Floats:
Fear/Defeat: Let’s not try that again.
Victory: Nothing we couldn’t handle!
Use Lockpick skill (Success)(optional): And there! Got it!
Use Lockpick skill (Failure)(optional): This nut’s too tough to crack.
Injured: Could use some help here
Relating to another companion:
(Marcus) You look like you know how to throw a punch, big guy!
(Lenny) You doing okay, Len?
(Myron) Just stay out of my way and you won’t get hurt. Battle’s no place for someone like you.
(Goris) So a deathclaw, huh? Interesting.
(Cassidy) You watch where you’re pointing that thing!
Relating to scenery/location:
(Vault City) A bunch of stuck-up assholes, if you ask me.
(Gecko) We’d better not cause trouble here, these folks seem friendly.
(New Reno)
Ah, the sweet smell of vice and drugs. Now I remembered why I only tolerated this place.
Can we stop by the Wright’s place? Keith and I need to catch up.
Maybe I should check in on Stuart, see if he wants me back in the ring.
(Chinatown) Wow, the Golden Gate Bridge looks even cooler in person. Wait, what’s parked on it?
(Hubologist bunker) *shivers* These freako cultists give me the creeps.
I don’t like this place: We’d better watch our backs here. This place gives me the creeps. Maybe we should make this visit quick.
Level up: I feel like my skills have really grown. Travelling with you is doing wonders for me!
Waiting: (humming a tune) You done yet?
Misc floats:
Nice decor.
My feet hurt. Sorry, I don’t like complaining. But seriously, I think my callouses are becoming new toes.
(PC passes a Barter check) Good. Always save money when you can.
(PC murders an innocent or steals) Whoa, what are you doing? Let’s keep this cool!
Hey, a dog! Here, boy!
Comments/Dialogue:
Standard Greeting: What’s up? What’s our next plan?
Reaction to Low Intelligence PC: I’d better watch your back, make sure no one tries to take advantage of you. You seem nice.
Crippled: *pained gasp* This is going to take more than a stimpack. We’d better find help, and quick.
After healing: Thanks. I’m ready to get back in the ring!
Put your weapon away: Good idea. Don’t want people to get the wrong idea about us.
Open inventory: Good idea. We should always know what we’re working with.
Stay close to me (CLOSE): I’ll watch your corners and you watch mine, got it?
Don’t get too far away (MEDIUM): Whatever you want. Sounds good.
We should spread out a bit (LONG): Gives me more room to maneuver.
I need you to wait here until I come back: Okay, but don’t take too long. You never know what could happen when you’re alone.
Rejoin: Just let me grab my stuff and I’ll be ready to hit the road!
Rejoin, PC doesn’t have necessary requirements (optional): Listen, you’ve changed, and I don’t think I want to be seen with you, okay?
Rejoin (over party limit): Too many people, and enemies will see us coming from miles away. How about you free up some space in your team and then come see me?
I had some other questions: Ask away. You’re full of curiosity.
Leaving/Disbanding: I can’t stand by you anymore. I’m leaving. This isn’t what I intended when I decided to come with you.
Trivia and Additional Info:
Because of her extra move points, Carla can sometimes accidentally move into other NPC (or the PC)’s line of fire, therefore risking damage. She dislikes chems, and will not use any if in her inventory. She can be asked to use her Lockpick skill, often to great success. She can also offer +5 to the Unarmed and Small Guns skill while at the Jungle Gym. This will take two hours of in-game time.
New Reno NPCs have positive reactions to her, recognizing her as a local celebrity. Wright family-associated NPCs will also have positive reactions, as she is an honorary member of their family.
She also has a unique sprite with long black hair.
Best weapons/armor:
Carla performs best with Unarmed weapons and Small Guns (pistols, etc). To optimize her efficiency in combat, she should be given the .223 pistol or the Gauss pistol. One can also get a Mega Powerfist, which she will do devastating amounts of damage with. Be aware that because of her low Luck, she will rarely land critical hits with guns. But because of her Slayer perk, she will always land critical hits with Unarmed attacks.
She does not have animation for big guns (Minigun, pulse rifle, etc) and therefore cannot use them. However, because of her high strength, she is proficient with a great array of weapons. It is not recommended that she be given grenades, as she has an awful Throwing skill and will likely end up killing everyone in your party.
She can be equipped with Power Armor, though because of her high Strength stat, this would be wasted on her. However, because of her low Endurance, some armor is STRONGLY recommended.
Ending:
After the destruction of the Oil Rig, Carla returned to Arroyo with the Chosen One, helping rebuilding efforts. However, about five years later, she decided to leave Arroyo and travel east in search of adventure. The Chosen One would occasionally receive letters from her, telling of exploits and challenges, and would always consider her to be a close friend.
