double wourm day yesterday. the mountain abounds with them

played dnd at a friend's place. finished playing dnd. started walking home. saw a creek. walked up the creek. turned over a stone. two velvet worms (i didnt disturb the other one since it was grey and Just Little Baby)

(adult velvet worm and its 11-14 kids [not necessarily all blood {haemolymph?} related]. find-a-worm. look at that colour variation within a related group. we got all the flavours)
