i thought buying kfc yesterday was my shameful lil secret but tumblr giving me ads for it just reminds me that my entire browsing and purchasing history is logged and weaponized by every bank and corporation

#fashions an elaborate jesters hat out of tinfoil #eventually the AI will result in a shadow clone of each of us based on every electronic device we touch #and we will have these abominable digitized clones of ourselves sold to every willing buyer on earth #bred and harvested for the sole crop of predicting and guiding our purchasing patterns to squeeze every last drop of money out of us #god we would use the browsing histories of two parents to tabulate what this baby will like and be showing it personalized advertisements #before they’re even born!#at least #that’s what i would do if i was runnin this joint 🙄
