My desire to read about ballet vs my desire to read about religion as if I actually have the brain capacity to do anything other than watch Gunsmoke
#im attempting to read the book on religion anyway#bc i Cannot let anyone irl know about my interest in ballet#i would never ever hear the end of it#so that book is hidden in my room#where no one will find it#and i mean the religion book im reading is pretty good#its A Brief Introduction to H!nduism by A.L. Herman#(censored bc i really do *not* want to run the risk of ending up in a tag lmao)#and this is my first book on H!nduism after spending the last 10 months reading about Buddh!sm#(minus that one singular Chr!stian book a while back)#and im really enjoying it tbch#but my sibs will be here soon and all of them think religion is a sham#and thats fine in and of itself everyone can believe what they like idc#what isnt fine is that anyone who so much as shows an interest in religion is apparently a monster or something 🙄#but anyway lmao
