#🥺🥺🥺#oh to have someone sing to me in polish#or use that term of endearment from lee's sunny fic#idk why hearing polish makes me so 💖💫🥺💕💖💕😭💖⭐️#bc I can't speak it and I only know a few phrases#but my grandpa spoke it and would call me myszka growing up#and my best friend in high school was from Poland and she'd try to teach me phrases#she made me the first mix cd for my car when I got my license#and we'd sunbathe in my backyard and then watch 500 days of summer and garden state together#and listen to all the music we thought was so hipster and cool#and we made chruściki together#polish is the language of intangible comfort#and being the lone keeper of once shared memories#my grandpa passed away and idk if my friend ever thinks about me now that she lives in copenhagen and we lost touch#but I remember the way she'd sound on the phone to her mom calling and asking if i could come over#and the way my grandpa said prayers in polish on christmas eve#anywAY didnt mean to get emotional on a post about danny pudi singing in polish#go look up the song it's good
