Is there such a thing as like rehabilitative programs for disabled people? like...for more than just physical disabilities (although I know from experience support for those are severely lacking in general)

I have yet to find anything that's not incredibly hostile to me as a childhood torture survivor, autistic person & someone who's severely chronically ill

Like I know for a fact I can't live alone but I think I could maintain some level of independence with enough support.

#and aid with transportation #I have full blown meltdowns over public transportation because of how hostile they've been to me before as a wheelchair user #usually once people hear that that's out of the question for me and that I can't just come and go when I please they bail immediately #I fucking hate this country #people always wanna talk about ''supporting their community'' until that involves helping disabled people #especially disabled people who need high levels of support #and god forbid you have abusive family that you're trapped with #you're just abandoned altogether #how many times do I have to risk my life and almost die or come out with more trauma before these people CARE that I need help #i think the primary things i need help with is transportation and finding work that wouldn't physically destroy me #and support with things that are panic inducing bcuz of ptsd or ableism #like I need someone actually *present*#until I'm able to get the level of support I need i'll probably die with my abusers lmfao #abuse tw
