The Fourth Closet Liveblog: Chapters 1-4

LET’S DO THIS

Due to the length of the book this will be split into a post for every few chapters.

Spoilers under the cut, obviously.

Chapter 1

Gotta admit, I already miss having Charlie as our protag. John’s bland ass isn’t really that interesting.

And you acted like Charlie was crazy for dissembling Theodore. who’s the crazy bastard keeping his head in your apartment now huh

god I wish Jessica was the new protag

Could Charlie have been injected with remnant at some point? Granted I’m not sure how she healed, but I’ve proposed remnant can do that (as William’s first springlocking scars were healed). Might not’ve worked with Michael because Ennard was blocking him. If he healed up later that would also explain how he got his job in FFPS without too many questions.

Chapter 2

Wonder if the woman at the dump was not-Charlie. Explains why she’d be interested in the animatronics at least.

Glad to see Clay’s doing better. And look, Marla and Carlton returned from The Void (TM)

Lamar is the only damn smart person in these books

Maybe not-Charlie is a person hired by William (or even Henry, if he’s still around - I’m guessing he’s the one who opened the new pizzeria unless MIchael was doing his dad a favor) to act like her? It would explain why she doesn’t look exactly like her but knows everything about her. Maybe she’ll lure them to the new pizzeria or something. I don’t trust her

Hmm, she seems to think she’s Charlie. Maybe she’s an android (though doubtful given how most of the human robots look in this series) or a brainwashed person? Remnant’s still not out of the question, but it feels like she would be covered in scars Dave-style if that was the case. Or maybe he’s figured out a better way to use it that doesn’t cause scarring? idk I’m spitballing here

Chapter 3

Weird that FT Freddy is purple here like canon but the one on the cover is black. Then again, the covers have never been accurate.

So the woman’s this guys assistant, not not-Charlie. Wonder if the guy is Henry post-stabbing/remnant/whatever.

Not only do real animatronics use air hoses, but that also explains why the Funtime endos have the hoses around them.

So assistant-person is possessed robot w/ remnant. Not sure how the guy at the dump didn’t realize she was a fucking robot, unless that wasn’t actually her

Betting Theodore is the TSE equivalent of the Fredbear Plush, meant to listen in on conversations (or not? don’t know how you’d fit a walkie talkie into just a head)

oh great, CBPW is here (if FT Freddy didn’t make that obvious). this just keeps getting better and better

Is assistant-woman AU Ballora? Or similar to an AU Ballora?

Chapter 4

Not-Charlie is a creepy goddamn bastard and I still don’t trust her

I find it suspicious that she was asking about John’s question. Seems like she might want to know so she can relay the info to him and act like she just remembered to gain his trust

Trapped in a box (Charlie felt like that briefly in TTO), not knowing what food is - the robot idea seems slightly more likely, as she def. thinks she’s Charlie at least

(she never does eat that pasta does she)

I doubt the Sammy = Samatha theory a bit myself, as it’s implied Sammy’s the Bitten Child (Charlie is Puppet, Puppet looks like Bitten Child and cares for him, Charlie is the twin of Sammy) and he’s referred to with male pronouns in canon. Maybe Henry was just raising him as a boy, but that seems less likely.

So were you hurt or weren’t you bitch? First you say you were, but then you talk about Aunt Jen trying to put you into a dress the next day. Even with remnant I’m pretty sure you’d be brutally injured by that point

The real Charlie hates zombie movies

Also she loved her animatronic toys and would def want them back
