Yes, the patriarchy hurts men too, but why do we have to convince men that the liberation of women will benefit them in order for them to care about it. I'm not going to sit around waiting for men to be incentivized to care about us as human beings.

#also 'the patriarchy hurts men too' is a false equivalence #bc while yes it does hurt them in some ways they are not the targets of it (and in fact they are the ones benefitting from it)#and quite honestly it's usually brought up to derail discussions of misogyny #talking #misogyny #feminism #intersectional feminism
