first few days in tokyo
yesterday i flew out from melb to brisbane then to tokyo, the plane ride was fine, i knocked myself out with sleeping pills so i barely remember it. at the end of the flight the pilot suddenly declared that we where going to be landing while the cabin crew were still serving food, this sent the plane into a frenzy haha. the cabin crew were bitching it was funny they said “i hope we aren’t at the same hotel as the pilot otherwise i’ll have some choice words”, on the plane we had a nice crew member called kevin, i wanted wine and he checked my id because i “look 17”, he also made fun of me for being from victoria. sorry to jump backwards but i just remembered i wanted a cigarette in brisbane so i found the smokers area and i asked a grumpy old man for a “spare cigarette” and he said “well it’s not really spare but sure…” he then proceeded to hold on tightly to his lighter while i tried to light it, i don’t think i look like the type to steal a cigarette lighter but who knows.
once we got to tokyo customs took a fair while, finally we figured it out and got the monorail to hanamatsucho then transferred to the yamanote line then finally to kanda station after a little bit of struggling with our suicas we finally got out and made it to the hotel, the staff were lovely and didn’t seem to mind that we really can’t speak japanese. after getting settled we met in the lobby and i gave both the hotel staff a tim tam each. i brought them with me just to give to kind people hahah. i hope they enjoyed them. we wandered a bit and figured out that we were staying in an “interesting” area with bunny girl bars and umm… adult video stores. very funny and almost comforting honestly. i got a pack of seven star cigarettes for $7aud so i was chuffed.
this morning i woke up at 5:30 local and decided to have a shower and go for a walk. i explored multiple conbinis around our area and found a nice place to sit and have a smoke. much later the others joined me and we checked out, leaving our bags at the hotel while we figured out our jr passes at tokyo station. we found the jr office and were waiting in a very sweaty, slow and long line until our saviour appeared?! a very nice jr worker told us to follow him and we ended up in the jr cafe where it was air conditioned and no line! the staff set us up with our passes and booked seats on a 2:30pm shinkansen to shin-osaka station. after we sorted that out we briefly shopped around tokyo station character street where i hit up the ghibli store haha. after a little stress over food due to my food anxiety i split from the group and went to a starbucks before meeting up again.
finally we returned to our hotel, picked up our bags and sat in a cool shady area for a while before going back to tokyo station and finding our shinkansen. now we are on the train! before i dragged my friend to the smoking room to 1. have a cig of course and 2. experience the very foreign experience of smoking on a train. that about wraps it up for now we just passed through toyohashi and are maybe about 2 hours away? i’m keen to see my hotel but i’m a little nervous because i’ll have to split from the others and navigate my way to the hotel without wifi… yeesh. it’s ok i ordered a pocket wifi to be delivered to my hotel tomorrow morning so the wifi problem should be solved by tomorrow, for now i just have to take lots of screenshots of maps so i don’t get lost haha.

Nihon, Omae Wa Utsukushii
Konnichiwa! At long last, I have now experienced the ultimate dream I have been daydreaming of since then. The buildings, anime studios, shrines, attractions, and nightlife that exist in Japan are the things I could forever live with. Being lost in Japan literally and figuratively is a thrilling experience. Despite being crowded, the Japanese breeze is a breath of fresh air. The zephyr of nature and city life reminds you to enjoy life and enjoy the stay for a while. Nihon, your beauty is indelible. You, being my dream place that I had the chance to visit, is the thing I will be forever proud of.
In my seven-days-vacation, I have visited Akihabara, Ueno, Shibuya, and Yokohama. It was the best seven days of my entire existence. It was somehow real to be unreal! My travel started with a ride from Haneda Airport to my hotel which was in Akihabara. My way to my hotel was astonishing. It was the first time I usually see the roads in Tokyo. It was heart-melting. I chose to stay in Akihabara since it is near to the stations where I can easily travel. I purchased a Japan Railway Pass to avail a lesser travel expense since the bullet train fair is really expensive. I spent my first day resting due to jet lag but as soon as I was relieved, I immediately roam Akihabara. It is known as the center of electronic devices and Otakus (anime lovers). Since I am an anime lover, I just wanted to live there forever. The streets of Akihabara are always full, especially in the establishments, I went in. The establishments there are the main attractions. As an Otaku, I instantly went to Mandarake, the largest manga and anime shop in the world. I was in awe to see a lot of manga books and figurines of my favorite anime characters. I was on the verge of hyperventilating because of the excitement I felt. After I roam around Mandarake, Yodobashi Camera, the electronic giant store was my next route. It was the largest electronic store in Akihabara that offers tax-free products. I bought a better camera there for better travel photos in the latter days of my trip. I also spent my remaining hours trying a lot of Akihabara street food and end up being in Kyushu Jangara Ramen to eat my dinner. They have the best pork cutlet ramen I have ever tasted!
My second day started at 6 AM to ready my stuff for the day’s itinerary. There are two places I visited that day; Ueno and Shibuya. Ueno is very famous for its shrines, and it is where we can have stopovers to lots of Japanese museums, one of these is the Japan National Museum. I have learned a lot about their culture wandering in the different museums since they are just near to each other. Visiting the Ueno Park and Ueno Zoo is also on my list. After lunch, I went to my second itinerary, Shibuya. I was able to cross to the famous Shibuya Crossing, the busiest road in the world. It was fun that there are a lot of people intersecting that I laughed by myself when I crossed five times to savor the chance. I also had a photo-op with Hachiko! I filled my stomach for my snacks in Kugutsado Ramen, which was only 10 minutes walking distance from the statue of Hachiko. I made ramen the food on the Japan trip. I finished my two destinations by 5 PM, and since I still have the time, I decided to visit the Tokyo Skytree. I spent two hours relaxing there while reading the manga I bought in Mandarake. The city lights were comforting. I went out by 7:30 PM and went back to my hotel. I just ordered some foods in Rakuten Delivery, the popular food delivery app in Japan for my dinner.
I spent my third day in Yokohama, the largest city in Tokyo. It was just a 45-minute train ride from Akihabara to Yokohama, yet I decided to bring my stuff and spend one day there. I planned to go to Osaka in the morning, that is why I need to ready my belongings. Yokohama’s nightlife was the best among the best. In the morning, I have visited the largest Chinatown in Japan located in Yokohama and took my lunch in the Ramen Museum. I told you, ramen is my ultimate Japan go-to food. After my lunch, I had a quick trip to Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, a large aquarium park in Yokohama. It was exhausting to roam around Yokohama, so I decided to went back to my hotel at 2 PM and respite a little bit. When my alarm rang around 4 PM, I prepared myself for exciting nightlife! After an hour of preparation, I went to Cosmo World, a small amusement park with thrilling rides. It was the first time I tried a roller coaster. I nearly died. I love the Ferris-wheel the most. I had a glimpse of Yokohama’s city lights. Then, I went to World Porters to eat my dinner and to shop a little bit for my essentials and souvenirs. World Porters is a shopping and entertainment complex. World Porters is just a five-minute walk from Cosmo World. It was a night full of fun, and I end up going to my hotel at 9 in the evening where I immediately slept.
I woke up around 10 AM, and I prepared my stuff for my final itinerary which is in Osaka where Universal Studios is there. By noon, I went to Yokohama Station and ready myself for a 3-hour-and-40-minutes bullet train ride. I arrived in Osaka at 4 PM. It was draining even I was sleeping from time to time. Moreover, it was a good day in Osaka! I rested for three hours, and at 7 PM, I went to Amerikamura to experience the American village in Japan. I also want to taste the best Takoyaki in Japan. I went back to my hotel at 9 PM and slept immediately since, in the morning, my Osaka trip will start! My Osaka trip was completed by going to Universal Studios and wandering in Osaka Castle. My last stop was in Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine to offer some prayers that my Japan trip was a success. I went back to Tokyo on my 6th day. I took the route train to Narita Airport in Tokyo since it is where my departure airport is. I arrived at noon and got some rest at the hotel I booked near the airport. I spent my last day roaming around Narita and shopping for some souvenirs in AEON Mall.
Being alone on my Japan travel is a very healing one. I learned a lot of things about Japan and, especially myself. It was a vacation that unleashed the other side of me. My independence is very commendable. This travel was so fulfilling that I can already die. Yet, I will still come back to you, Japan. Just wait a little bit.
Here's a little imaginary travelogue I made for one of my major subjects. Ghad, how I wish this is true.

365 days of writing: day 350,351,352
Day 350,351,352: unreliable
Yesterday evening was pretty stressful to say the least so I’ve ended up needing to make another 3-day update. I will get to that later though for now we will start with Saturday. In the morning I did a little bit of cleaning and then I was feeling energetic so I decided I’d try to walk from here to the area near my school. I usually take the subway or a bus to that area but since it was a weekend day and I didn’t have to carry my heavy backpack I went for it. Although in all honesty I ended up taking a slight detour closer to the area where school was since I wanted to find a new place to eat lunch and in all honesty the restaurants near school can be a tad pricey. I made it to a restaurant about 40 minutes away from my apartment. It was one of those restaurants where you can order a lunch set with miso soup, your main entree, rice and some side vegetables. I bought a ticket when I entered the restaurant and sat down in a booth since I was there quite early. The food was good but I made the mistake of asking for miso sauce instead of ponsu sauce. I love the taste of miso but I had no idea they would drown my pork in it. It ended up being too sweet and leaving an after taste for a while but the meal overall was fairly good. After lunch I wondered around for a bit and stumbled upon a figure shop that claimed to have hand-made figures. The shop had several different figures of popular Anime characters in different cases and a few of them where clearly carefully organized. For example the Dragon Ball Super figures were designed with a sense of humor in mind. They had an angry Bulma figure with her arms crossed looking right at an equally angry Vegeta figure looking back at her. It sort of made me wonder if the figures came together in a set. They had several figures I liked, even one of Roy Mustang, which I honestly hadn’t seen before but alas these figures were priced by popularity so I couldn’t afford him. Honestly, I wanted to buy my best bro a Sailor Pluto figure but she was also pretty expensive, oh well...they were fun to look at.
I didn’t want to go home after that so I took a ride to the Esaka area of Osaka and walked around a little bit. I wasn’t able to do much since the massage place I went to was too busy and it was too early for dinner but it was nice enough to feel nostalgia of two years ago when I stayed for a few weeks in Esaka before I had to inevitably go home. I remembered the mixed emotions I felt back then and felt the irony of the fact that I’m also experiencing similar mixed emotions with this language school, it seems like the only time I really didn’t face that was during my first semester abroad at Kansai Gaidai, I wonder how to recapture the happiness I had back then. Anyway, I headed back to Sanjo station and then had some dinner before I headed back home and went to bed.
Yesterday I was able to relax a little longer than I thought since my tutor got sick and canceled our lesson but I ended up going out for lunch anyway. After lunch I found a karaoke place that is designed for just one person, I mean it has rooms where one person can sing privatly. They give you headphones to use and even have an optional mic that is similar to the kind recording studios have so you can pretend to be a pro I guess. I liked it ok for the experience but the room is small and a little crowded, the mics are corded so I kept worrying about where my drink was in relation to them and I didn’t like using headphones even though I was able to turn it down. I enjoyed singing still and I have to admit it was a little cool to hear my voice with the songs I was singing however it sounded out of place considering professional songs always have editing...you don’t notice it too much when you are hearing it through speakers. Anyway, after my time was up I got some dinner at the Italian place near school and then I attempted to get in touch with my classmates who I was supposed to go to a bar with for our interview assignment but I heard nothing. I wondered around for a little bit but it was getting cold and I was getting tired so I waited in the convenience store and even attempted to contact our group leader. It wasn’t until 9:15Pm, at the point when I was losing my mind and about to head home that I heard back from the guy. It turned out he wasn’t planning on meeting with us at all and had plans to get the interview recorded on his own and bring it to school the next day. I didn’t end up getting to bed until 10:15 and I was pretty pissed off at my classmate.
Today in class we had a grammar test and I guess it went ok but the test was a tad challenging. Our group leader also spoke with us today...well two of us, the last member didn’t even seem to care at this point, and I found out that he had kept our other members in the dark too, so he basically decided to take matters into his own hands and do the recording on his own without checking with any of us or the teacher first. I am pretty sure that the teacher is going to get mad at us and I wonder if we’ll even get credit since our group leader was the only one involved in the interview and basically screwed us over. It\s experiences like this that make me so tempted to just quit right here and now. It’s getting increasingly hard to convince myself to stay just for the sake of staying in Japan. I’m not so sure it’s worth it at this point and while I don’t think I’ll be happy at home either I am leaning towards qutting and going home somewhere between March and May depending on when I decide to quit the school. I haven’t told my parents that I want to pursue voice acting. I forgot to mention that I did speak to mom via skype in the morning Sunday and she’s struggling a lot but hanging in there health-wise. I know she really wants to see me stay and tells me not to be rash but she knows I’m considering going home in March at least, I don’t want to tell them about my other ideas just yet though Poppy is aware of my wishes and while she says I’ll need to get another job to pay for the voice coach she didn’t seem to discourage me from pursuing it.
Anyway, after class I basically just came back here because I’m exhausted and my throat and nose aren’t in the best shape so I just wanted to watch some youtube videos and chill. I also watched two more episodes of Dragon Ball Z. I feel like this filler Saga is ok but I can see the weaknesses of it already, Goku is basically MIA for some reason...I don’t know if he’ll be absent the whole Saga or what but some sort of reasoning would be nice other than a “I’ll be back soon.” and no one knows what he is doing meanwhile. The plot itself is fine I guess so I’m going to attempt to hang in there with it. I had some shrimp and zucchini for dinner that I made myself and now I’m on here. I’ll probably watch some more youtube videos before I skype with Poppy, I am hoping to think of places I want to go for winter break too since I can’t just let myself stay in the apartment and mope over what to do with my life at the moment. I just have to believe I will know the right answer and try to enjoy myself meanwhile. I don’t want to let my family down but I know at the same time I have to do what I feel is best, in the end I have to be satisfied with myself.

Love Live! Perfect Dream Project: Member Profiles [Translation]
The new PDP members’ profiles were released! I tried my best to translate them~ I’m still new to Japanese (and to translation), so please let me know if there are errors.
Each girl has a brief bio and a message from them (called “意気込みコメント”, roughly “enthusiasm/passion comment”). The names are in the Western-style order: [given name] [family name].
Ayumu Uehara
A second-year at Nijigasaki High School. She's a hardworking person who puts her all into everything she does. She started as a school idol because someone invited her.
Nice to meet you, everyone. I'm Ayumu Uehara. Uh, since this is the first time I've written up a message that can reach everyone like this, I'm a little nervous, and my heart is beating quickly. But, since being a school idol is a dream that I want to reach for with an important friend, I'll live up to my name, and we'll try our best at making our way—step by step—towards fulfilling this dream! [TL note: taken a character at a time, “Ayumu” literally translates to “step-dream”.] I still don't have much experience with singing or dancing, and my looks are rather... ordinary? Even so, uh, well, since my speciality is working hard, please cheer me on! I'll be in your care!
Kasumi Nakasu
A first-year at Nijigasaki High School. Since she likes cute things, she's more into school idols than others are. She hates losing, so if someone calls her "Kasukasu" (a nickname), she'll get angry.
Hello—! It's everyone's idol, Kasumin! I'm aiming to become Japan's top idol, so I'm working hard every day at my singing and dance lessons! Of course, I'm also secretly working to become cuter—. I also send rivals scandalous information about them, and stealthily put coppepan [bread rolls] into their shoes: they're perfect crim—wait, hold on, that's a secret! C-cough! A-anyway, this is Kasumin signing off; please support me!
Shizuku Osaka
A first-year who was recently admitted to Nijigasaki High School. She's a level-headed honor student in the theater club. Her reflexes are good, but she dislikes baseball.
Hello, everyone. I'm Shizuku Osaka. I love performing in plays, so I joined the theater club here. We make our own costumes, and regularly put on plays for the public. I became a school idol to get better at acting. But recently, a senior student I respect encouraged me, saying "Let's reach for a higher stage as school idols!", and I had a realization. Plays and school idol activities are very similar: people come to enjoy themselves, to be moved, and to have us put smiles on their faces. So from now on, I'll try even harder to become a better school idol! With the acting skills I've learned from theater, I'll work diligently to make everyone smile. I may not know much about being a school idol yet, but I'd be happy if you came to see me trying my hardest! I'll be in your care!
Karin Asaka
A third-year at Nijigasaki High School. Her looks and proportions are beyond those of a high school student, and she's aiming to become a model. Though she looks like an adult, she also has a pure side.
Hi~! I'm Karin Asaka! Pleased to meet you ♪ Hey, what kind of school idol do you like? What kind of live show would you like to see? A super energetic kind? Or, a very cute one? What about a cool show? Regardless of what your answer is, here's what I want to show you... Something only I can do: a veeeery stimulating show. What do I mean by "stimulating"? As・for・that, can't you figure it out just by looking at me? Ufufu. With my self-confidence, I'll use this body to show you a sexy, passionate, dream-like, mature performance that'll arouse everyone's senses ♪ I definitely won't let you regret it, so it'd make me happy to hear your zealous, fiery cheers. I'll be waiting for everyone's passionate support. Ufufu ♪
Ai Miyashita
A second-year at Nijigasaki High School. As a suggestible person who's always willing to help, she has a lot of friends. Her style is flashy, but she has a big heart, and she's a granny's girl. Her favorite food is nukazuke [a kind of pickled vegetable].
Yo. I'm Ai Miyashita. I stumbled into being a school idol because my friend from school asked me if I wanted to! Everyone, I'll be in your care! I love you! Because I'm Ai! [TL: the pun here is that "aishiteru" can mean "I love you" or "I'm being Ai".] With that, Ai-san's special rapid-fire pun corner starts no— oh, I can't? ......Ah, OK, sorry. I'll be serious from here on. Seriously. Well, as you can see, I end up getting dragged into a lot of things, but I'm an honor student. You can't see that? Wait wait wait, but it's true! I'm good at both studying and athletics, and I’m stylish... you see? Anyway, the friend I mentioned before said to me, "I think the impression of the school idol world that you have is totally off. Sure you don’t wanna give it a shot?" That got me excited! I'm really prone to getting fired up from that kind of challenge. So! I decided that I'll aim to be number one in the world of school idols! I want to see this world that I haven't seen! And I want to show everyone that landscape! Let's soldier on in high spirits!
Kanata Konoe
A third-year who was recently admitted to Nijigasaki High School. Though she always seems sleepy, she's deeply passionate about cooking and looking after her younger sister Haruka. If she could do anything, she'd spend her whole life sleeping.
Good morning~ everyone…… I'm Kanata-chan~. Fufu, today's Kanata-chan has more energy than usual……. I want to be the best school idol, and then my younger sister Haruka-chan will praise me…… And she’ll respect me……. So, I worked hard on my self-promotion message…… If she could just read it…… Without a doubt…… Kanata-chan will win………………zzz …………………………ah. I-I'm not sleeping...... But, I guess I should change the topic……. From now on, I'll show you my greatest charm…… Just for you, as much of my sleeping face as you want……. So, I'm looking forward to your support………………zzz
Setsuna Yuki
A second-year student at Nijigasaki High School. A lot is expected of this school idol, who's gathered interest from other schools. She has an energetic smile and her performance is distinctive. Being busy with school idol activities, she's almost like an urban legend, with other students saying that they haven't seen her at school.
Is everyone doing well? I'm Setsuna Yuki! To be honest with you, I have a big dream! It's a little embarrassing, but I've gathered the courage to tell you. I want to become a school idol that can make the world overflow with love! In today's world, being honest about really liking something is kind of difficult, right? One might feel ashamed, or feel afraid of being looked down on, or feel that they're in a difficult situation. But, in the world of school idols, one can forget about those concerns. Both the idols and the people cheering them on love school idols, and are empowered to honestly show their love. It's a very kind world that shines brightly, full of fun. You can tell from the overflowing enthusiasm here, right? I want to open wide even further this world where anyone can express their love! Even if this is an impossibly big dream, I think that with everyone's help, this dream can become reality. Let's create this world full of love together! I'll be in your care!
Emma
A third year from Switzerland who's studying abroad at Nijigasaki High School. She's an easy-going, kind girl who loves the mountains and natural beauty of her native home.
Good afternoon, I'm Emma. I'm from Switzerland, a country overflowing with natural beauty. So I love mountains and forests. When I have free time, I might go out and take a walk in the woods or play in a river. What do I like besides that... ah, bread crust! The crust of breads in Japan are so fluffy~ ♪ Just taking one bite cheers me up! Similarly, just seeing school idols can be really exciting, right? That's why I wanted to be a school idol. Nothing would make me happier than if just seeing me could make a lot of people happy! Everyone, let's have fun together!
Rina Tennoji
A first-year at Nijigasaki High School, coming from the associated middle school. She’s not good at showing emotions on her face, so she communicates by drawing faces on a whiteboard she calls the "Rina-chan Board".
I'm Rina Tennoji. A very cute girl. Really! But, since I don't like showing emotions on my face, I always give off an antisocial vibe. [TL note: originally, I translated “I’m not good at” as “I don’t like”. Same Japanese word, less context.] So I thought up a solution. A secret item for communicating my feelings to everyone. It's called the "Rina-chan Board". On this board, I'll draw faces to show what I feel. Yes, this is perfect. I think I can share my feelings with everyone at live shows with this. Eh? You want to see my real face? Well, then, if everyone cheers a lot for me, I'll show it. When that happens, I'll show you the smile of someone who's trying their best. It's kind of weird, but I'd be happy if everyone would let me do that.

The Very Best Amusement Park Ride Manufacturers
Have you ever wanted to be on a roller coaster, your favorites, and once you are completed with the proper, you might've seriously considered all the work that explores the roll-out of these enormous devices. The truth is, should you be at one of the better parks worldwide like Disneyland or Disney World, there is an incredible quantity of planning, preparation, and construction involved with creating the rides which you love a whole lot. When Epcot Center became available decades ago at Disney World, it had been regarded as probably the most innovative rides, albeit very slow, that had ever been manufactured in history. Tens of vast amounts went into research and development, producing this giant globe with a peak into our history, and there were a lot more that have been created since then. So that are these folks that create the rides that we all appreciate, that people crave to go on every year? Let's take a look at several of the top kiddie plane ride manufacturers which can be these days.
Tumblr media
Top Theme Park Ride Manufacturers
First of all, there are a few categories to think about in regards to those who make your rides. You will find the ones that designed the rides which takes a high volume of technical skill, usually something in engineering, where they could plan for the safety aspects of the ride, the building, as well as the materials that will be used. Then there are the manufacturers, the businesses specializing in actually taking those plans and leading them to be into something real. Click this site: http://bestonamusementequipment.com/ to know more about Beston amusement.
Tumblr media
In addition to those manufacturers will be engineers that, unlike those that design these projects, they are in charge of the physical product, inspecting every aspect to make sure that they are not only fully functional, but they are safe for the public. There are lots of out there such as the Dentzel Carousel Company which is responsible for some of the largest merry go rounds which we have today. Chance Rides, HUSS Park Attractions and KUKA, which is actually a German robotics company, play a big role for making the animations for some of the popular rides, headquartered in Bavaria in Germany. Tumblr media
Where Were The Long Run Take Us?
When you have been to famous amusement parks before like Disneyland that you have experienced animated figures that seem to be very lifelike, there may be a substantial amount of work that is put into these units. Not merely are robotics companies brought in, but those that create the very lifelike appearance, and naturally cost in designers. Every one of these everyone is utilized by the theme park ride manufacturers, each using their own degree of speciality. From roller coasters, to underground rides like Pirates in the Caribbean, to every attraction you can think of, that couple minutes of fun or thrill that you experience each time which you continue the initial one is caused by countless people who have worked together, including engineers, welders, manufacturers, costume designers, and many other professionals that are all section of the manufacturing teams that produce our rides today. Where this could be going later on is with regards to changes made to more realism with the characters that are made, faster rides which are created using new materials, and naturally computer chips that could be beneficial in controlling every aspect of the rides that you are on, creating a more lifelike and realistic experience.
Tumblr media
As technology continues to advance, and firms like Vernon Keenan that designs roller coasters, and Sansei Technologies away from Osaka Japan that may do elevators, stage equipment as well as amusement park rides, as their power to expand upon prior knowledge continues, and more innovative people emerge from schools with new suggestions for rides that people can take advantage of, this industry will keep growing, supplying the entertainment which you expect at each of the amusement parks these days, and ever growing and evolving industry that may not disappoint.
Tumblr media
Just about the most entertaining rise that one could go on it any carnival is called the Octopus. As the name suggests, there are actually eight components for the ride, places where people can spend time at and feel the ride with family and friends. In most cases, you can fit three regular sized people in each cart, for if you will find smaller people, and every person may have a belt that need to be worn. More than the other rides, having this type of protection is essential due to how quickly the ride goes up and down. At the same time, you might experience some form of centripetal force, especially mainly because it gets going faster, spinning in circles. Is a summary of what you can expect about this ride, the actual way it functions, and why this could become each of your favorite carnival rides of all time.
Tumblr media
Precisely What Does The Octopus Do?
Once the Octopus is in rest, all eight of their arms are at the cheapest possible level, allowing men and women to get free from each cart if the right has just completed, allowing people to get in that have been waiting in line. That carts spin individually, set with an angle, in order that by shifting your whole body weight, you could have the carts to spin far more quickly. You won't have much of a problem whatsoever receiving the carts to spin, however, since the arms go up in the air. The arms go up and down many times in the ride, however it is the spinning action of your ride itself that causes the carts to automatically spin, causeing this to be just about the most fun rides ever created.
The Risks Of Your Octopus
The Octopus could be a little bit dangerous, primarily for those that forget to strap themselves in, or if they decide to become bit dangerous and unlatch the security belts. If the occurs, as well as the ride goes at full speed, if the carts are spending too quickly, individuals have actually been ejected using their seats, causing damage. This is why it usually is essential to simply leave the safety mechanism in place, and concentrate more upon leaning your system weight to a single side or even the other. The more people that you have in each cart, and when most people are moving synchronously, you can find the carts to spin quickly.
Finding One At The Local Carnival
You will more than likely find this ride at both state fairs, and carnivals that happen to be traveling all across the country. They take a considerable amount of put in place as a result of arms and carts that are used, but when they will be ready to go, you are going to definitely have a lot of fun. Just be sure that you are strapped in, and should you be with small children, that you hold them as tightly that you can. Do not spend a lot of with kids as this ride, a lot more than others, can generate high rotational speeds, causing them to not only get scared but get sick at the end of the ride.
Hopefully it will be possible to test out the Octopus sooner or later in time, thought to be among the best rides ever created. It can be not at all intended for individuals who get sick driving in cars with curves on the highway, so bear that in mind before you decide to actually get on to test out this enjoyable ride along, your family and friends.
