Aksmfkdn, okay, those tags about combining the Bard King being Ryker's ex with Restoncest are a new idea to me, but that is Intriguing. I'm already thinking of a few ways it could be funny or dramatic, care to share any of your own thoughts? (no pressure to, ofc)

Ok, so, general thoughts, not organized whatsoever

Roman was everything Ryker had. It took a while to eventually arrive in Reston, though Roman was still too young to remember anything before. That bond was completely unbreakable by the time they had a community around them. It was them vs the world.

Aunt Patty lost track of Ryker for a while when he and the Bard King got together. She found him again a few months after he and Roman settled in Reston, and he was completely broken. He's still somewhat shut off to her, even in the present canon.

Roman grew up in that emotional environment that everything Ryker went through caused. Because Ryker was so protective and closed off to everyone, Roman got the impression that his father was the only person he could really, really trust without either of them really realizing.

When Ryker realized his feelings about his son had turned into something else, he was really torn up about it. He avoided Roman to an extent by throwing himself into guarding the town.

A few months before Youngblood came to Reston, Roman confronted Ryker about his suspicions that he was avoiding him.

Roman had realized pretty much as soon as he fully understood romantic and sexual attraction that he felt that way about his dad. He kept it to himself because he also understood that most people did not feel that way about their family.

During the confrontation, Ryker shut down completely and wasn't saying much of anything, just excuses about having to work and the town needing him.

Roman yelled about it not being fair, that he needed him too.

Neither of them were really aware it was about to happen, so no one initiated it, but they kissed.

They both felt guilty, but it kept happening.

Then Roman left. They didn't really talk about it, but Ryker knew how badly Roman wanted to have an adventure, and Roman knew he had to make Ryker proud of him.

Roman learned to trust people other than Ryker and Aunt Patty (to an extent) for the first time ever.

My basic concept that I've been trying to get to with this is that there was something about being near Ryker, some sort of magic going on, that kept the Bard King from knowing where Roman was. Maybe Ryker got someone to do that for him, maybe it was just something that happened by accident.

When Roman left, the Bard King was delighted to know it was with Youngblood and influenced the path they took to get them to Neon.

In the fanfic I probably won't write, the Bard King finds out about the thing between Ryker and Roman, probably through spying on Roman when he admits to Youngblood and Noise what his relationship with his dad is. The Bard King then reveals to Roman that he's his other parent.

Roman kind of has a crisis, but the Bard King manages to manipulate him into becoming close with him, despite Youngblood and Noise's best efforts to stop this. I'm thinking Youngblood and Noise go back to Reston, pursued by anyone the Bard King could afford to send away from Neon, and they tell Ryker what happened.

Ryker leaves with them to go to Neon, having to confront his past and his feelings for Roman that they never really communicated about.

I don't think this has a happy ending tbh. Whether Ryker doesn't make it to the end of this story or the relationship between Ryker and Roman is never the same, I'm not getting good vibes from this plot bunny.

That got way longer than it was supposed to. Wow. That was what I was thinking, though.

The Family of Destruction- Betrayal of the legends.

Aka rics a dick to shawn and Leon ain't having it. Bascially I'm working on Leon and shawns relationship so here.

Also I'm a big fan of fangs. So taker, Leon and cassie now have them. Introducing them here ofc.

Leon stands next to his father and watches as ric shakes hands and hugs the superstars lined up. The two men share the same opinion about the situation, and they don't even have to speak it. Leon can't help but press the tip of his tongue against his sharp fang. Cassie rushes over. "Hes not in medical. They said their still waiting for him" cassie states before she stands next to her father. "Hes blocking me out" Taker admits quietly. Leon's eyes scan the lines. Then ric moves slightly forward and Leon's eyes land behind him. "Found him" Leon states. The other two look to see Shawn stood behind him, tears rolling down his face, hand grasping at his ribs tightly. "Shawn.." Taker sighs.

"Ric? Ric will you just talk to me?" Shawn begs. "Go away Shawn." Ric grunts as he makes his way to shawns family. Shawn stops cold in his tracks. 'They did tell you to never meet your hero's. Maybe you should never fight them' a voice in the back of his head nags. He watches as cassie hugs the older man and taker shakes his head and says something. Then his eyes land on Leon. Leon, who's jaw is set, eyes burning into him. "Leon?" Ric asks. Leon just pushes past the older man and walks straight to shawn. Ric stares at him offended. Leon carefully hugs his Pa. "You did amazing out there tonight" Leon mutters against his head. Shawns eyes widen before closing as he quickly hugs the taller boy back and hides his face against the boys shoulder. "Your my hero. The perfect example of why you should meet your heroes, even better example of why you should wrestle em" Leon tells him. Shawns eyes shoot open.

He pulls back and cups Leon's face. "Your just saying that because I'm upset. And injured" Shawn states. Leon smiles and leans into his father's touch. "No Papa. I'd say it to you in years to come. I'd have said it to you growing up if I wasn't a jackass." Leon admits. "You beautiful, beautiful, messed up baby boy" Shawn whispers before pulling him into a hug. "Messed up?" Leon muffles against shawns shoulder. "Oh please, I already know rics not going to have a peaceful night." Shawn huffs. Leon chuckles. He's not wrong. "We need to get you checked out." Leon huffs pulling back. "Broken ribs. I'll be fine. Still have to play grieving fan boy tomorrow" Shawn states. Leon turns back to his other family members and ric.

"No hug goodbye?" Ric asks Leon. The hall falls uncomfortably silent. Leon doesn't say anything, instead he grabs ric by his shoulders and slams him against the nearest wall, causing hunter and vince to quickly move out of the way. "This is how things are going to go, so listen close. Pa will play the grieving fan boy tomorrow on raw. He will address the crowd, take whatever shit these boys give him about it then he will give you a final hug at your retirement party. And you will shed a fucking tear and tell him it's alright and you will hundred percent hug him back" Leon begins. Ric grabs his wrists. Shawn stares at his son in shock. "Me and cassie will walk out with the rest of the stars but you'll be fuckin lucky if I even look at you. Dad will come down and pay his respects, maybe even hug you and then you leave this business and never fucking show your face in our ring ever again, do you understand?" Leon growls.

Ric doesn't say anything and this clearly upsets Leon more. Leon pulls him forward slightly before slamming him back against the wall. "Do you understand!" Leon yells. Ric groans and nods quickly. "Say it" Leon growls. "Lee.." Shawn tries. "SAY IT!" Leon yells. "I understand!" Ric yelps. Leon steps back and ric stares at him before starting to move. "Oh and ric?" Leon asks, keeping his eyes on the wall. Ric pauses next to taker, glancing at the taller man before looking back at the mans son. "Yes?" Ric asks. "Ever, and I mean ever, put any part of my family in danger again or ever hurt my Papa emotionally or physically again, and I will be waiting." Leon promises. "Waiting?" Ric asks. The lights flicker as Leon turns his head towards ric, his eyes glowing a deep purple. "Youll know what I mean." Leon promises.

"Bye now Flair." Taker suddenly speaks. Ric looks at the man to see his eyes fully white. "Get to steppin" cassie smirks, baring her short fangs at him. Ric glances at shawn one last time before walking out. The lights turn back on and Leon smirks. "God I mis-" Leon begins turning, only to get cut off when he's pulled into a tight hug. His eyes widen as two more join the hug. "Thank you Lee" Shawn whispers. Leon relaxes in his families hold.

"Anything for you Pa."
