yknow in regards to that last reblog (this one) i didn't say it in my tags but also. that happens a lot to jon and tim too, not just martin
#friday chats#am i opening the can of worms? only partly i don't want to write three essays on how dirty the boys have been done by fanon#just. they're fundamentally good people who have been put in The Shittiest Situation Imaginable. of course they're going to hate it#and of course they're sometimes going to react based on that hate and anger#and sure. tim let his anger consume him in s2-3 but that anger came from losing his brother!#AND sasha! he's so scared to lose the people he loves and he's already lost two of them. there's helplessness in there too.#God.#and jon! his s1-meanness came from the constant feigning skepticism#his desperation for the statements to be bogus manifested in waspishness whenever someone suggested they might be true#excluding that--later-seasons jon was put through the fucking RINGER. practically 24/7#once again i don't want to write essays on these guys but legitimately i could go on for AGES
