1) what was the first k-pop song you listened to?

That is quite an interesting question and I’m not even sure??? My brother was SUPER into jpop so I listened to a lot of that when I was younger but in terms of kpop I think f(x)’s red light??

2) the first group that you stan and the latest group you are in love with?

i suppose f(x) but the first group I really fell in love with was exo and the latest group I love is definitely bap

3) what’s your go-to song to cheer you up?

tbh i don’t listen to happy songs to cheer me up i listen to sad songs and my Depressive song of choice is fucking..... Mirotic..... like the original TVXQ version..... idk man it’s like my mind was like “i’m gonna ruin a song with sadness LETS MAKE IT MIROTIC”

4) who amongst the idols/artists you wish to have as your best friend and why?

i want to be friends with cha hakyeon so much :((( i also want to have milkshakes with hyuna :((((

hakyeon and me are both water signs and i get along so well with cancers and i feel like we are very relatable we’ll complain that we’re undervalued by our peers and probably compliment each other nonstop

and hyuna is so energetic and fun i love her soo much omg it would be so fun just to hang out <3

5) do you prefer music videos or live performances?

music videos!! i love story and drama based mvs and they’re always so artful and i love concept albums

listen I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again: neon + gay. that’s my vision for the future and that’s my concept for every group ever.

omg i dont even know i’d really like to go to a place with a lot of museums and theater and be able to sleep late and go to the beach a lot

Ken because he’s so caring and sweet and also is super buff rn so he’ll protect me from the zombies <3

fdfjslahfsfd there are ppl following me who dont know that for most of my life i’ve been a hardcore metalhead (and still am) (i specifically love power and prog and symphonic metal the most)

(1/2) hi, i saw what you said about BTS on unpopularkpop and why you're not really an ARMY anymore and I really enjoy you speaking the truth. Each day I find myself drifting away from the fandom because of their aggressive attitude towards ACTUAL CRITICISM and trolls (which they don't seem to understand the difference.) I made a joke about BTS, nothing serious so please believe me, and I literally got told to die, that i was retarded, calling me a snake

(2/2) and other pleasant things. Ever since then I felt so uncomfortable being any ARMY. I can’t like any more videos, interact, or even AGREE with other ARMYs after what happened over a stupid joke because I know that if you criticize them ONE bit then you’re burned at the goddamn stake for it and it makes me SICK. Honestly, I think I might just become a Shawol because I enjoy their music more than I do BTS and at least the fandom is a bit nicer (or so I hope) okay I lied (2/3)

(3/3) I don’t know anymore. I really love BTS and hope to meet them someday, but when I see ARMY’s bashing others for their opinion even if the person is an ARMY themselves, it just makes me so angry and so upset. They really need to learn that BTS isn’t perfect. They’re people just like everyone else. That fandom needs to get it together and stop being so immature and aggressive bc I’ve had it.

thank you for having the courage to open up about this, it’s really sad that so many people have been pushed out of the fandom because of how toxic so many ARMYs are. They always say “all fandoms have bad apples” and while yes, that’s true, theres just a VERY LOUD section of those baddies that defintely serve as the face of the fandom, unfourtunately. Their elitist mentality and their need to push others down to bring bts up is so sad and disappointing. Their constant need to discredit other artist’s achievments and hardwork is really what pushed me over the edge, personally. I couldn’t stand hearing them constantly degrade other groups (esp EXO my ult group). What is hilarious to me is this victim mentality they have that “all the other fandoms hate us” or “We only have each other” when they literally talk shit about everyone else’s favs ALL THE TIME. It’s just really sad and frustrating to see bts’ fandom like this. When i first got into them i fell in love with their down to earth personalities. They seemed like such regular guys and their fans were very much a reflection of that. Everyone was so friendly and chill and they were every bit of the Adorable Representative MC for Youth that they claimed to be. It is clear now though that the fame has gone to their fans heads. I hope that soon the “bad apples” will move on and find their next boy group to stalk so people like us can go back to liking Bangtan in peace. For now, I’m staying the hell away from ARMYs until i know i wont be lynched for liking EXO or literally any other group lol
