Doing plover drills and listening to touhou music I am soooo particular brand of woman rn
#plover is a stenography typing set-up!#u dont type letter by letter its syllable by syllable#and the keyboard is sorted into 'start of syllable. vowel. end of syllable'#so like on a normal keyboard to type cat id have to go 'C A T'#which is 3 strokes#but on plover u go KAT all at the same time in one stroke#and it doesnt mix it up for tack or any other word regardless of whether u type some keys faster than others#bcos the k is from the start section and the t is from the vowel section#it also only has like 8-10 letters on each side of the keyboard so u have to make certain button combos to use them!#like theres no D key so if i wanted to say 'dab' id have to type 'tkab' bcos tk is the button combo for d!#fun stuff :3
