5 Tips To Snap Out Of A FUNK!
Its a little challenging to describe how or why I have been feeling the way I have this past week. The best way I can put it is I’ve been in a funk! I’m not particularly sad or mad I’ve just been blahhh. Filled with a variety of feelings of frustrated, tired, anxious, and alil bit of everything else you can think of. I have so much that I want to accomplish but recently I haven't wanted to do anything but sleep.... and eat! 
Now Idk about you but 2020 has been giving me the business! Literally it seems like one blow after the other and baybeeee im tiyaddddd! One day after venting to my mom aka the wisest person I know, I said something along the lines of “this wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't all happening all at once”. Now I was expecting some sort of reassurance or encouraging word but instead her response was “welcome to being an adult” followed by explaining that being an adult is being able to balance all of these different problems/situations all at once”..... My initial response was and eye roll and a strong desire to say well alright ill talk to you later lol But the more I thought about it the more her words HIT. 
Life is going to keep happening! Things are going to take place that shake you up! You are going to experience FUNKS where all you want to do is sleep, eat and end up gaining 10 or 15 pounds that puts you in even more of a funk....That’s life! Well atleast mine the past week or so. We are human and we are entitled to have a moment. Moments to be afraid, disappointed, overwhelmed, frustrated, angry, discouraged, lonely, uninspired, etc. As optimistic and positive as I am sometimes funks are unavoidable and more so not so easy to get out of. So here are 5 of the thinks I do in order to get out of my funks.
1.) Organize/Rearrange 
2.) Consistent Affirmations 
3.) Connect with like minded people 
4.) Revamp your game plan 
5.) Step up your self care!
