I'm going to get a good grade in modern progressive transgender language, something that is both normal to want and possible to achieve.
#griffin's life#anthony padilla did a video interviewing trans men & then a trans youtube i follow did a response#and i only watched the first quarter bc so far half the critisms are about the interviewees?#like the way they talk about themselves and that they chose to show baby pictures#i know our language is very personal and thus we can get very invested in it#but that doesn't excuse you to critique other trans people's speech#even if you're doing it in a 'Progressive' 'Helpful' manner#this person really said 'for trans people showing baby pictures is uncomfortable' and 'this explanation feeling disconnected from gender)#feels more productive than 'i was born in the wrong body'#you can't say someone wasn't born in the wrong body or that that's not language they should use#that's their choice#everyone has a different experience and the way we talk about it will reflect that#some people need to take a step back
