Wednesday Wait Loss 148
Welcome to Wednesday Wait Loss. Please share what you’ve been working on!
First let me tell you what I've been up to
Mostly I’ve been enjoying the holiday and I hope you have too!
Tumblr media
I had a big pattern sale in honor of Black Friday/Cyber Monday and I hope you took advantage of it!
Yesterday I recapped my November goals and listed my goals for December. It’s a long list as usual, and it includes the task of finishing up my daughter’s Star Trek quilt among other things. Jump over to my post and leave an encouraging comment if you like.
Tumblr media
If you follow me on social media, then you know that yesterday I also announced my 24 Gifts of Christmas! Yep, I’ve corralled some great gift-making tutorials for you and I’ll be featuring the first 8 of them this Saturday. If you plan on making your gifts this year, be sure to drop by on Saturday to see my first set of suggestions.
Tumblr media
Well that was my week!
Now let's see who made this week's feature
Tumblr media
Last week I asked for Winter Holiday quilts (holidays from now until the end of March). Let’s look at those projects. Karen @ Quilts Etc. shared this sweet Santa embroidery.
Tumblr media
Kathryn L shared her favorite Christmas quilt and it’s lovely! A lot of work went into this one. Thanks for sharing it Kathryn!
Tumblr media
Gail @ Quilting Gail shared these fabrics, which were used to make a secret Christmas quilt for someone special. She can’t share the quilt just yet, but I hope she will share it with us soon.
Tumblr media
Finally, Vicki @ Vicki’s Crafts and Quilting shared this lovely Valentine table runner. Valentine’s Day may not be cold where you live but it certainly is here. This runner though would warm anyone’s heart.
Tumblr media
There were other link ups that although not holiday related, were still very special. Let me share those too.
First, Donnalee @ Donna Lee Q shared Dandelion Wishes, a UFO from April 2008 that is almost finished! Congratulations Donnalee for taking up an old UFO and turning it into a finish (well, very nearly finished).
Tumblr media
Frederique @ Quilting Patchwork Applique also shared a long standing UFO, her Vega quilt, which she started 9 years ago! Frederique used spiral quilting to finish it. So lovely! Congratulations Frederique for finishing that old UFO. Happy dance!
Tumblr media
Turid @ Den Syende Himmel loves to share cute little pin cushions she makes from scraps. Each one is wonderful, including this one which she made from selvages. I simply love it! I like the idea of saving special selvages and using them, but not in a quilt. That’s just too many tiny strips for me although I love the look. So maybe a pin cushion like this is in my future!
Tumblr media
I know I’m sharing a lot this time but I simply couldn’t miss sharing the purse Celine @ Esprit Patch made! Oh my goodness it is gorgeous. And it’s a long UFO she has finally finished. Wow wow is all I can say. That and please make me one? <grin>
Tumblr media
Congratulations ladies! Thanks especially to those of you who shared holiday quilts and projects.
Here's an I Was Featured badge for your blogs or to simply print out and wear with pride! Thank you for supporting my blog!

For the giveaway, you got two chances if you linked up a holiday quilt and one chance if you linked up any other quilt project. I assigned a number to each entry and then let Random.org do it’s thing. Up for grabs was a Bluebird Gathering panel from Benartex.
