ough metalblues is a plague on my mind and im gonna be thinking about them the whole day while at work
#Willow Rambles#mega man#listen i love the idea of two forces in positions of significant power being inherently at odds#hatred to the point of obsession??? y e s#specifically from metal's perspective#he abhors Blues' cold and indifferent attitude and he hates that Blues can get under his skin#he wants to get inside Blues' head SO BAD and find what makes him tick and he hates it#he hates how he cares so much about taking Blues apart#next to Rock Blues is the biggest obstacle to Metal and is absolutely a threat due to his position as the First#and Metal gets a little too obsessed with wanting to strip him of that title#he doesn't understand why Blues is constantly at the forefront of his mind and it drives him insane#meanwhile Blues looks at Metal and sees something that can and will kill him#because he can#we make jokes abt Metal being weak to his own weapon but I think he's one of the strongest Wilybots /gen#and he's the FIRST Wilybot so he has inherent power with respect to authority#he's one of the few that can actually rival Blues' own strength#and Blues does not like that#he keeps tabs on Metal because he knows Metal is hunting him down#and he taunts Metal every time he's unsuccessful#why?#he will tell you that he does so to shake Metal's resolve and distract him#make him clumsier#is that true? -shrug- :)#there is no love in this ship just obsession hatred and a lot of homoerotic tension
