I'm a firm believer that nothing happened before or after MoP. Warlords of who? Wrath of the what? Legion? I don't know her.
But I change that, Ardenweald is the only thing that exists outside of MoP.
#My stance on MoP is that they really tried to bring the game up to modern standards in Cata but it failed in a mad scramble#to appease an unsatisfiable community.#There were parts of Cata that were just flat out bad but there were also parts that were good that went ignored by endgame-only players.#But MoP refined much of that and came out a perfect game once they ironed out some of the initial hurdles.#Not just in gameplay but in design and music and story.#Warlords had some good zone design but everything else was shit especially how they gave us a damn#OGRE raid when fucking Auchinduon and the Arrakoa got measly forgettable 4-mans.#Legion tried to be a better nod to TBC and was better but still flawed in many ways.#BfA they tried to put more focus on creating a linear story and make fully animated cutscenes but it was too little too late.#and sloppy as hell.#But I'm playing through Ardenweald and I'm getting the same kind of very strong all-around enjoyment I got from MoP in its entirely.#The remix of Nightsong during that one walking scene is /chef's kiss#Bastion was pretty but okay#and fuck the maw and maldraxxus my eyes have had enough grimdark WoW
