No crafting updates, but I did my first escape room today! Well, technically my second escape room? But my first escape room was before I got any meds for my health issues so I was pretty much sitting in the middle of the room entertaining my niece while the rest of my family did the escape room around us so it's the first one I actually helped solve lol. It was super fun!!

Summer2018 is finally here, and I have a very broad and very interesting forecast for styles. My plus size girls are going go be on top of the game this year boo boo. I’m not only going to show you what the styles are, but I’m going to give you some tips along the way on how you can dress these styles to your body type. Are you ready?
Athleisure trend: I am beyond on board with this trend, the only problem I have with this is that I cant work out in a lot of that stuff. I love to lounge in it though. When I workout, I have to wear something a little more compression based, and high waisted. There is nothing worse than hearing your thighs clap and flap together during jumping jacks. OR, running and having your pants start rolling down under your fat rolls. Girl, I know you know what I’m talking about! To rock this trend its super easy, flaunt some of those curves! Find the area of your body that you’re comfy with and flaunt it. If its your waist then tie your t-shirt up into a little knot so you can show that off a bit, also the higher the waist on your pants the easier it is to pull off the crop top so, keep that in mind when looking for leggings or joggers. Also, throwing on a jean jacket and some mascara make this trendy… otherwise I always feel like I’m a little frumpy dumpy.
Newsboy caps: I’m not sure how I feel about this one yet, when I find one of these that fits my head and doesn’t make me look silly, then we can try it. I’ve seen some outfits look super cute with these, especially if you just throw your hair into a messy bun.
Belt bag (aka the fanny pack): This is another one I heard about, but I just can’t get it. I’m not just being a hater either, they just look TERRIBLE on my body type. I love this brown one though from free people, I can see how that would be super cute and trendy!
MensWear (Oversized blazers): I also love this trend! I’m still a little cold until its over 75 outside, so I usually wear some type of sweater or coat for a while. A good way to rock this trend is with some high waisted distressed jeans. I love pairing a good blazer with simple shoes and basic colors. It’s also a easy way to look professional and still casual at the same time. CURRENTLY, I feel like its WAAAY too hot to wear this, but hey, maybe at night time?
Bomber jackets I love bombers, I could wear them all the time anywhere. I’m a huge fan of them, I have them in a million colors and materials. You can wear them with anything to make your look go from zero to trendy. I’ve thrown on a bomber with a simple shirt and leggings and looked like I walked out of a style ad. I’m so pleased with how easily they transition into every season, but I feel like Spring and Fall are the best times to rock these. So, don’t waste your time, its way too hot outside right now. Use it wisely though, get on those fall sales early!
Combat boots (femme flirty with grunge): Everything Curvy and Chic wore this a while back and I loved it, I can see this being in style this spring. I also love those lacy dresses with combat boots as well, I’m feeling that 90’s grunge vibe with these looks!
Retro style fashions:
Palazzo Pants, Paper Bag Pants, and High Waists… OH MY!  This is something I was looking forward to. I’ve wanted to rock this trend for a while, and they never had a ton of options in my size. Not anymore! I’ve found some super cute ones at Eloquii, Target, and F21. I suggest wearing these with Bodysuits or crop tops, and get crazy with it too! Don’t be afraid to get some floral ones or stripes, they can be super fun for the spring and summer. Palazzo pants are an easy way to go from work wear to evening with no fuzz, and the paper bag hem is really regal for an evening out on the town.
Jumpsuits: I love jumpsuits, I just hate that I have a super long torso and short legs. It makes my jumpsuit loving a real crisis. I always find super cute ones that are not long enough in the torso area, and never look good on me. 😦 I do have some suggestions of some that I’ve found that would probably work on anyone. Target is stepping up their game man!  Between Who What Wear and the new Universal Thread collection I almost had a heart attack. This jumpsuit is super cute, and fits perfectly. I love a good sale too, don’t you? Eloquii always has some cutting edge fashion that will knock your socks off. So, when the collab with Reese Witherspoon came out (Draper James) I wasn’t surprised that Eloquii was the one who was launching. That jumpsuit in the middle up there is from that amazing collection. Style Tip? Size up for a roomy-er fit.
I’ve found the cutest jumpsuits at Target to be honest, Plus or not, they are some of the best fits ever!
