also unrelated to the sappy ask but my family does a thing where we watch an episode of Riverdale every week then meet to discuss (cursed. cursed energy). there's a short subplot where cheryl fakes miracles to get canonized while alive, including water to maple syrup, stigmata, and taming bees. any fun bee miracles you can think of?
God, there are a LOT of weird bee myths- I think the story of Asenath, wife of Joseph, is probably the closest to 'miracle'. She renounced her paganism and bees from heaven came down and stung the false names of gods out of her mouth. The bees were iridescent and wore little crowns.
I also think of the bugonia ritual, which is based on the idea that bees spontaneously generated.
St Gognait had bees that attacked people who tried to steal cows. Bees followed St. Modomnoc from Wales to Ireland- he's usually pictured with bees. St Ambrose got attacked by bees as a child and they left honey in his mouth (gross).
