Last Christmas party (A personal blog) December 13, 2018 I can't hide my excitement anymore, to the point that I wake up too early just to get myself ready. I'm going to attend a party, a pajama party. I took a bath and wear my fancy blue pajama. After that my friends and I decided to met in Bayan to buy some stuffs before the party starts. Since it's a pajama party, my friend also wore pajamas in different design. Yessa wore a Mickey mouse pajamas as an alternative for not having SpongeBob SquarePants designed pajamas. Dana wore a animal print pajamas, if you will ask me she looks like a cat woman. Jasmin, on our last minute shopping decided to wear a pink pajama related to rabbit. All of us brought fancy headbands in relation with what we wear. The weather that time was not that good but that doesn't stop us to reach the venue. Honestly we came late to the venue, good thing that the party haven't started yet. As an energizer, our section play hep hep hurray with a twist. At the end of the game, my friend, Jasmin won the game. After that we proceed to one of the highlights of the party, the Amazing race. We were divided into six groups ahead of days. The following groups are: Yellow Finn n' Jake, Red Avengers, Pink Panther, Orange Garfield, Black Crystal Gem and our team Gray Bare Bears. Our group consists of Bea, Hazel, Jasmin, Yessa, Sarah and yours truly. As what you observed, Dana was not part of the group it is because she's an officer and they are the ones who facilitates the party. We go through different stations, done some funny challenges. Jasmin and Yessa ate spicy stick O. Bea Ate garlic in the sake of our group.I experienced putting five Hany in my mouth while reciting the Preamble. What we do mostly was running to the corridor to find the stations. After the games, we settled to enjoy the foods we shared to each other. You can really see that everybody have fun to the games. When everyone finished eating, the program proceed to the cheering competition. Laughter filled the four corners of the room as the groups performed. Some group act while the other sing and dance. And our adviser sir Matias was the judge. After that, we watched compilation of videos about the moments of our section. We did not notice that the time flies and night already invades the sky. We cut the video viewing and proceed to the awarding ceremony. Our group was awarded as the one champion in the amazing race, we also won as best in cheering and best in banner. After the awarding ceremony, we do the exchanging of gifts. I received a gift in a red wrapper. At first I really thought that it was a book only to find out that it was a journal, a journal filled with inspiration quotations. Then sir gave us his gift, it was actually unexpected, he wrote a poem for us. "Pinag-isa tayo sa puso at diwa" (We are united in heart and in spirit), for some reason those word made a big impact at me. The Christmas party was really one of the most memorable moments in my high school life and I treasure this so much. And I'm very thankful for experiencing this kind of moment.
