Originally published in 1978 this book presents the various different ways that ancient cultures around the world have fashioned a variety of amulets and talisman for apotropaic purposes, fertility, to trap spirits and more. I like reading books that have been In Publication for a while in addition to the newer ones because it shares an interesting perspective. The older books are often more folkloric in nature.
