the image of Kevin and Neil just chatting exy always always makes me so happy. like no antagonism no impending weight of anything, just them having normal conversations, obsessively talking about a mutual interest the way friends are supposed to do. like them in tkm sitting on Kevin's bed watching games together?? PRICELESS to me. .... their conversations have them referencing specific games and players. Neil getting up to act out a move. Kevin drawing out plays on his tablet and showing them to Neil, Neil taking the pen out of Kevin's hand to edit. arguing over changes to the team. Kevin getting annoyed when Neil can't keep up with his references but also he enjoys being the one to introduce him to new parts of the game. critiquing pro games and speculating over which player is going to win this or that award. getting hyped at impossible plays and feeling a mutual thrum of inspiration that wouldn't be quite as intense if they weren't sat next to each other ajdjjjgjjg the domestic side of their relationship with exy makes me insane
