Also Uriel surviving means he would have met Jack eventually and that would have been so fascinating and funny to me. TFW is concerned with ‘oh no will Jack turn out to be good or evil?’ which is mostly just code for ‘how human is he going to act?’ Meanwhile Uriel is babysitting him like Crowley from Good Omens going, “and remember, we may crush humans underfoot because they are destructive and terrible, and we are angels.”

#I’m not saying Uriel would be good with taking care of Jack in any way #I’m saying that I personally would find it funny #and besides the kid deserves to have adults in his life that aren’t Winchester aligned #I mean we know how they tell Jack about Lucifer. we know the story he gets from them.#imagine the story he would get from Uriel. Uriel who joined his cause in s5. who gave up his place in Heaven to do that.#Uriel who had to go on in the aftermath of the apocalypse failing.#Uriel who had a glorious vision of Lucifer once. and was disappointed.#that’s a far more nuanced take than tfw would ever give. and Jack deserves to hear it.#also Uriel having to contend with the fact that Jack is human. he can lean on Jack being an angel the same way tfw leans on his human side.#but in the end they’re still both wrong!!!
