i'm playing trough the unova villain arc in pokemas rn and i did not expect them to randomly drop the detail that the in-game events takes place 5 years after bw2.
#it makes sense when you take the theoretical timeline for the core games#(sumo taking place 2 years after bw2 & xy + the events of each game after xy happening over the span of a year)#i just didn't expect them to acknowledge time actually passing since certain games#i thought they'd stay ambiguous about it#damn that means a lot of these characters have mad baby face going on#hilda and hilbert being in early 20's and still looking 15#definitely can relate as a fellow baby face haver ✊️😔#also that means cheren and bianca would be around 22 years old 🤔#that's cool it definitely recontextualizes all of the cheren/lear content i've seen & makes less uncomfy for me#OH AND N WOULD BE 27 GOOD LORD#SIR YOU'RE PUSHING 30????#this lil detail is unlocking so much new info for me thank you dena#pokemon#pokemas#mj.txt
