btw uhm im p sure ur the guy who made a bunch of hatoful animatics on youtube and i am so shy but. btw i have rewatched & relistened to those SO MANY TIMES.. hitchcock and yoru ni kakeru especially??? ive been putting hatoful animatics on loop for the past like. few weeks & i just. love urs so much.

like i love... in yoru ni kakeru how kazuaki and hitori LITERALLY take turns at each other's throats!!! and,, hitori & nageki in that one augrhh,, like.. WE know why he's staring at a candle but kazuaki is just so scared and the. kirai da. FUCK man it hits so hard. and all the pictures of nageki,,, literally perfect

and in hitchcock!! the parallels between those two are so clearly illustrated especially in how hitori relates to them but also how in holistar they have such a contrasting but SIMILAR story to tell. they are the protagonist and the antagonist but.. deep down yk?? and the very ending with them looking up at the sky... BUT ALSO THE LITTLE THINGS LIKE NAGEKI TAKING A BOOK OFF THE SHELF OR HOW U ILLUSTRATE KAZUAKI BECOMING THE KING OR THE TRAIN

and also "i think i just died" is just a nice one in general,, yk??

wow T_T thank you for watching them so carefully and sending me your thoughts!! i'm sooo happy that you noticed all the little details i put in, especially in yoru ni kakeru!! it was a lot of fun to think of the symbolism and when i did the the candle/nageki bit i was like this guy LMAO

and yea!! i feel like nageki and kazuaki both know what it's like to feel isolated and alone... and of course their circumstances are very different, but because regardless nageki can understand kazuaki's emotions quite well... the conversation they have at the end of holiday star (in the lighthouse) really Gets me T_T
