There was some co-worker frustration nonsense today but we started working on a 1000 piece puzzle shortly before closing this afternoon and after everyone else left, three of us stayed and finished it all

and then I had to pull more of that wretched western horse nettle tonight but after that was over I put on the Music Man soundtrack and belted everything (to make up for not being able to sing along with headphone music at work all week) while making a lemon cake which I will presently stab all over with a wooden spoon and pour lemon curd on for the study tour reunion tomorrow

and of course there will be dishes, there are always dishes, but it’s Friday and I’m grateful for some free (and alone) time.
