Let me get this straight, in TVDU:
We blame amnesic Elijah, who erased his memories seven years before Hayley's death, for Hayley's death when he didn't even know who she was and didn't actually kill her.
But we don't blame Kol for Davina's death when he was the one that actually drained her of blood because the ancestors were controlling him.
And we don't blame Freya for torturing and kidnapping Keelin because she did it for family.
And we don't blame Klaus for nearly killing Caroline twice because it was romantic when he saved her from his own venom.
And we don't blame Klaus for nearly strangling Hayley to death because he was just scared of being a father.
Just wanted to make sure I understood where the fandom stands on this.

first ever ship: .......okay don't come at me, but it was from X-Men: Evolution, the animated series 😬 when I was... probably way too young 😬 it was either Kitty and Kurt or Jane and Scott. I shipped both of them, hard, but idk which happened first. also, obviously, at the time I didn't know the word shipping for it. I just had a lot of very strong feelings about them 😂😂
last song: ...okay, still don't judge, but it's Go West by Pet Shop Boys 😬 we were watching MTV 90s earlier today.
last film: ...yeah, this is looking very bad for me, maybe I should just stop.... so the last movie I watched, in a turn that surprises absolutely noone: The Mummy Returns 😬
currently reading: if we're counting fanfic, I have 6 fics open. the last one I read earlier today is one I just started, Loving Him Was Red by notsodarling @notsowrites. for books, I'm kinda still reading Pride and Prejudice, though I haven't really touched it in a year, but there's still hope of finishing it at one point. also, I almost finished The Nobleman's Guide, I just keep procrastinating because I'm not ready to finish the series and say goodbye to the Montagues.
currently consuming: just tea. it's a long weekend for me and I ate so much shit all weekend that I'm all done now.
currently watching: The Rookie 4x16.
currently craving: mostly just sleep. my cats heard my plans of sleeping through most of the long weekend and thought "absolutely not"
