Khidki under a darwaza. After more than nine months, I finally stepped outside of my safety zone - all of a half kilometre radius around the residence. When a friend buggered me to join him at his farmhouse over the Dusshera weekend, it didn't take long for me to be convinced. What clinched the deal was the added offer of being picked up and dropped home. Perfect I say. And while it's a hot morning here in Alibaug, there's nothing more relaxing than walking around the compound, breathing in fresh air, watching birds hop from tree to tree, happily chirping and my canine friend catching a further forty winks under a darwaza.
