So the hc here - that Jason and Salim when they got older, they both start struggling with vision.
Salim needs glasses to read, because he starts struggling with hyperopia (or far-sightedness).
And Jason need glasses to see far objects, because they seem blurry. He struggles with myopia (or near-sightedness)
