So how would you describe Germany's body type? I ask because I really like the way you draw him.
hmmm i basically draw him like this? (or he should look like this.. i think..)
i don't know what it's called correctly, but i call it a muscular piece of meat with layer of fat and boobs

so! i came back from a trip to Ukraine, got my college diploma, attended the presentation of the book i illustrated (a very good book if you know ukrainian, i strongly advise you to read "袣谢懈薪芯泻 泻芯褉芯谢械胁懈" by A. Achell), saw my dog, saw my friends for the first time in three years, passed my last exams, went to Gdansk to meet another friend, had a little rest and the first thing i drew after all this was, of course, a fashionable Dieter
i don't have a job, i don't have any money, i'm going to have a tumor surgery in early july, but i have napoleonic plans to go to university (in GeRmAnY (i have zero ideas how to do it, but i have a goal 馃ぁ)), so it's a great time to order commission btw 鉁岋笍

I really like how you draw Germany, to be honest, I was getting tired of Germany with a six pack. Honestly this body type for Germany makes a lot of sense. He isn't a very military country anymore so I get we he'd have some chub.
What's your headcanon for Germany during WWI and WWII? I always pictured him as lean and muscular but not having any fat at all as a result of harsh conditions in the war.
thanks!
in general, he is still muscular under this fat layer because he has a love for lifting weights in gyms (in a healthy body, a healthy mind, and so on), but with his love for all kinds of pretzels, sweets, fresh bread, beer and generally quite high-calorie food, he is protected from visible six pack abs 8)
during ww1 and ww2 he looked quite pathetic compared to his current state. i don't know about muscularity, i'm not an expert, but it seems to me that lack of sleep, constant stress, overwork and malnutrition do not contribute to the development of muscle tissue (and also lack of strength exercises and sufficient protein needed to build muscle? 馃)
so he was just quite lean, especially at the end (it's almost physically painful to draw him without a belly, just so you know)
