★ What’s on your August agenda? I got this ARC of @elise.kova’s A Duel with the Vampire Lord in the mail recently, and am looking forward to starting it later this week! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed Elise’s Married of Magic series, it’s great for fellow fans of fantasy romance. This one releases August 18th! (Check comments for description!) Later this month I also begin my grad school and teaching journey! I’ll be starting my pursuit of an MFA in creative writing, and I’ll be teaching first-year college composition. I’m both excited to get the ball rolling and a whole ball of anxious energy. 🤣 I have many days of orientations and training coming up, and it’s looking to be a busy August! Especially with the kiddos starting school in a couple weeks too (plus soccer, and gymnastics, and jujitsu 😅). A couple weeks ago I moved my desk back over to this window and am glad I did.
