I just want to know what was going through Luke’s head when he was mentoring Percy for that first week. Did he feel a little guilty about what he was doing? Was he thinking only about hiding his knowledge and being kind was just an extension of his deception of the camp? How he treated Percy was just impersonal continuation of how he treats every new camper?

Or did he genuinely want to be kind, thinking that since he was sending Percy to his death, he might as well support the kid and make the week leading up to it a nice one? Did he ever expect Percy to find out who he was and what he did, or did he only ever intend for Percy to know him as an older brother figure?
