the temptation to write starclan like a psychological horror concept in razorverse grows more powerful every day
#its abt the reincarnation thing i mentioned the other day#im wondering if itd just come across more as an excuse to hate on starclan rather than doing something with them thats actually interesting#i mean like. ik i already have the tunnels but the tunnels are not an existing entity in canon while starclan is the crux of most wc plots#i think i wanna go about it like. its mostly full of well meaning characters and they really do believe what they say#but the original founders are so distorted at this point and clinging to their near godhood that they spoil the entire thing#theyre the ones who are against the power trios and theyre behind the strict law and punishments#but their biggest motivation is to stay known. once theyre forgotten by the living then they go back to the reincarnation cycle#which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but its created this suffocating system#tbc idea is that the cats deal with this#actually sinc eim considering moving bramblestars death back up and therefore may render ashfur in tbc pointless…#what if i made skystar or gray wing the imposter instead#idk if thatd make sense tho. plus ashfur already supplies juicy drama as is
