That incline from earlier? I actually had it for quite some time but forgot to have the ceremony and figured I may as well have the ceremony. I'd finished terraforming the NE corner of my island for what would become my "Residential District" and needed this incline removed so I could a new one in elsewhere.

btw sorry for not posting on here for ages lmao i forgot i had this app lmao i will try to post on here more but im making an mcr island in acnh it's actually just three cheers for sweet revenge themed really but still

the map is what it looks like atm but it has nothing on it like no furniture no trees no anything because i flattened my island and spent all my money on inclines and bridges - both inclines near the player houses cost 168,000 bells each and i had to get rid of one because i put it too close oh well also i would do treasure islands but i psychically can't because of how bad my social anxiety is and ngl i prefer to do it myself anyways those are my dreamies and there's the code for the mcr custom designs :3 <3

In light of the news that the RT website and apps will shut down on May 15, I'm starting a record of what I've got saved locally + what I'm planning to save. I am not trying to get a comprehensive archive of all AH/LP content; that's what the Archive of Pimps is for. Instead, this is a personal library that prioritizes content that I enjoyed and want to rewatch down the road.

If you think I'm missing anything, let me know. If you have requests for specific videos, let me know and I'll see what I can do. Also, if anyone has a FIRST account they don't mind sharing, I'd love to get into the RT website and get local saves of FIRST content, like Hardcore Tabletop. RT has disabled the ability to purchase a FIRST membership, and has not shared what will be happening to FIRST content once the website shutters.

Finally, I'm currently on pace to fill up a 2TB hard drive (Minecraft alone is almost 1TB), and I'll need another 2/4TB hard drive to continue nabbing local saves of things. Welcome to Bucket tangents, where I rant about whatever random shit is plaguing my brain

I restarted my island for ACNH recently and have been essentially grinding to get to the point of being able to do construction, cause thats where the game gets good actually. Having achieved this, I’m running into the age old problem of “all the bridges/inclines I like are Expensive”

Which of course reminds one of the ongoing joke/nag or whatever that your villagers contribute nothing/very little to these projects.

1. Lots of people say the villagers contribute nothing. Incorrect, they contribute a total that is based off friendship points iirc

2. And this is where the tangent really is going, where do we expect them to get all the money anyway?

One of my villagers made a comment about being tight on bells in some passing mention, something not usually said but like??? They don’t have jobs. They all have the smallest house available and as far as I know never upscale. You never see them catch bugs or fish (I know thats so they can’t take anything you want to catch but still)

If you’re looking at it all in a very literal, not game mechanics fashion, the player is literally the second richest bastard on the island. Only second because you live there with Tom fucking Nook, man of like 50 businesses. I’m probably taking a joking nag way too seriously but this has been no joke in my head the past hour or two SO I’m screaming it into the void of tumblr

i feel like i would be more inclined to use terraforming on acnh if it was easier to do. they should give us some sort of quick version where we can just... work from a map view of our islands. cliffs are especially a pain in the ass because i don't know how it looks from above so i don't know if things are even

Been grinding in ACNH for the last couple of days (if it wasn't obvious with my lack of activity)- am too lazy and impatient for turnips half the time so I do the deep-sea diving route for money grinding (with a fully upgraded inventory you bring in 30-40 k bells per trip), so far I'm grinding to pay off five future inclines and 8 future zen bridges-- Hopefully with the dlc too once I unlock the poki-bell converter atm I can make a bit more, constantly spamming the a button gets tiring after a while kjds

Are there any island designs or aesthetics you guys really like? I'm kinda unsure where to go for my island design, I've just been working on the back of the island where there's a bit of a clearing for star gazing/shooting star catching with two cliffs on either side leading to an orchard and a way down to Redd's boat (left) and a crop field with my house (right). Was originally gonna try to do a kinda pixie hollow thing with having the island be decorated in all four seasons in sections, I got most of the river work done for that in terms of separations and the campsite being the center piece- but now I'm a little unsure. The other idea I had was to go dark academia and fall, but I don't know if that'll work in the other seasons as well when the grass and trees change out of fall colors
