Can we just take a moment to appreciate how good Blue Eye Samurai is at avoiding cliches? I 100% - no, 1000% expected Fowler to find out Mizu is a woman through the classic expedient of him ripping her clothes and exposing her breasts - especially since this show doesn’t shy away from nudity. Instead, he pointed out how “his” bones break like a woman’s, and that line was so unexpected and powerful because of course Fowler would know something about women’s bones and the way they break.
