Thinking of how Ailette’s first order of business when the 17th round starts is to rescue the villagers and then rescue Terry. I didn’t think about it too much originally but wasn’t Ailette taking chances here that Tesilid wouldn’t make it before she got there? Like Tesilid maybe did in a sense not make it which is why we have 117th Tesilid instead of 17th Tesilid. Did she simply think she would have enough time according to her knowledge from the book? It’s true Ailette also does care about civilians, but I’m wondering if another reason she does this is for Reed’s sake and to prevent Reed from having killed people.

The Perks of Being a Deus Ex Machina
Tumblr media
So I recently binged The Perks of Being An S-class Heroine/ A Transmigrator's Privilege and I need to talk about it or I'll implode.
I apologize in advance because this is gonna be a long post as I can't stop hyperfocusing on it and I need to scream into the void ([tumblr]).
This series honestly has one of my favorite uses of an overpowered MC in a while. I've also seen a lot of people complain about Ailette being too powerful and how much it hurts the story. I've only read until ch170 in the webnovel so I could be wrong but I don't think that's really the story they're trying to tell.
Ai is our main character but she's not the correct main character. She's so strong and gets so much help from the system that nothing poses a real threat to her. I can see how that could be boring for some people. But she was never supposed to be in this story. It's heavily implied that if Tesilid dies in her timeline, the whole world resets again without her ¹ (under spoilers) and it'll be like her version of Ai never existed (Manhwa ch31). It's not just about how well she can survive, it's also about how well she can protect Tesilid. Suddenly this story becomes an escort mission. She's Resident Evil 4 Leon and it's game over when Ashley dies. Or more aptly, she's Gandalf, trying to protect the self-sacrificing Frodo as he journeys to Mordor. It doesn't matter how powerful she is, if Tesilid dies anyways. She can't just leave him alone to kill the big bad on her own, either - Tez dies from like 500 different causes in the original story.
!! Webnovel spoilers under the cut !!
In my opinion, the story doesn't really start until Tesilid's regressions start (which probably won't be until s3 in the manhwa). For some people this is understandably too long. But it's really only a power fantasy during the tutorial period; when she finally gets to meet with (1)17th Tesilid, she turns into a walking Deus Ex Machina. It makes for an interesting dynamic imo, since Tez's powers are so restrictive and he has little choice but to be a self-sacrificing pushover. He even goes so far as to tank for her when he thinks she's about to take a killing blow. On the other hand, she’s all-powerful with a questionable sense of morality. It's like if Ai was Saitama (another Deus Ex!) but he dies if Mumen Rider dies. You know it'll all work out when they arrive, but it's incredibly tense if they're separated. It's cool to read a story from the protector's point of view for once- to see things from their perspective as they try to keep alive the main characters always running around trying to get themselves killed. Especially since we basically already know that there's virtually no way for Tesilid to succeed alone. Ailette has virtually all the power to help Tez and she thinks she knows how, but the farther we get into the story the more we learn that she probably doesn't understand as much as she thinks. Does she know how to end the loops? Or that Tesilid can loop again to a previous iteration? It's a mystery wrapped in power-fantasy skin.
¹ When Reed repeatedly kills Tez before the end of the tutorial, the whole world resets. This suggests that time in this universe revolves around Tesilid and it doesn’t flow for others if he’s dead.

So, I've never read SVSSS and it has some characteristics that don't appeal to me so they make me doubt if I should give it a try. Anyways, I'm always curious about this SJ dude... isn't he the one that is supposed to be main villain in the 'novel' the protagonist read and also the one he transmigrated into? But then, isn't he just some kind of tool for the protagonist just like mxy is for wwx? Only a body, an "empty vase" in our eyes as readers, whose real soul disappears once the protagonist takes over him and we don't know about his whereabouts anymore and it's like we aren't supposed to care about him anyway? Or is it that I'm wrong and he STILL IS important for the plot?
Ah, I hope this question isn't annoying 😅 I know that I should just read it if I want to know but I'm always confused about this matter in particular...
Not annoying at all. I think the thing about svsss is that someone's experience reading it is completely reliant on how they approach the book. If they approach it as something not terribly serious, a satire of a particular genre that is meant to subvert it, something that is ultimately a mostly lighthearted read, with some substance but not the same weighty themes as mdzs then they're going to have a good time (barring potential personal triggers).
*Spoilers ahead*
Shen Jiu does start out as an 'empty vase' sort of concept since he's the body/character in the story the mc transmigrates into, but then, as the novel progresses, the mc uncovers things about him and his character is fleshed out. He's still an antagonist, who emotionally, mentally and physically abused a child but due to the reveal of terrible circumstances in his youth and then some quite horrific reaping of what he sowedand more people's reaction to the character can differ pretty wildly. The author cleverly acknowledges this in the book via an observation by the mc:
“Shen Qingqiu [the mc] could understand Airplane Shooting Towards the Sky’s [the author of the original work] outline-chopping tendencies a little bit more. If he actually wrote this type of character [Shen Jiu] with his original backstory, it would definitely be an arduous and thankless task. If you said he was scum, he was also pitiful; if you pitied him, he was undeniably ruthless. A character who was both scum and wretched was usually a godly body and prime disaster area for fights to break out. Might as well chop him down into a bare-faced cheap character for the protagonist to stomp under his foot—easier to write and more satisfying for the readers.”
He's still a baddie in the end, it's just that with awareness of his sad back story it becomes easy for people to fall into the pitfall of feeling bad enough for him that they want to find excuses for his actions. Some just project on him and use him as a self insert this is visible in a lot of fanfics w this character. For me I just appreciate that he's not an annoying, whiny asswipe turd lord, in the way jiang cheng is. He's not born to privilege, quite the opposite. He doesn't try to shift blame for his circumstances on others, on his tragic past, on his trauma but rather acknowledges the role his own nature played in sealing his fate and accepts his comeuppance. In other words he's as ruthless to himself as he is to everyone else. Which is why I say he's one of the villains I rather enjoy.

Every Day the Protagonist Wants to Capture Me - Review
I finished Every Day the Protagonist Wants to Capture Me during winter break and it took me a while to write a review for reasons.
Did I enjoy the novel? -   Well kinda. Would I recommend it? -   Not really. Would I like that others read it, so that I can talk to someone about it and gush over Xie Xi, Fu Chongyi, Wei Ciyin and Demon Lord Yan Heng? -   A huge YES!
But let's get in the details for a bit here... SPOILERS AHEAD!
The good:
Length - Happy it was relatively short; reasons in the bad.
Pace - The pace at the beginning was quite fast, which was nice for the fact that I really didn't want to read a book about a 13 year old child falling in love. I’m not big on teenager love stories. But ... see the bad.
Narration - point of view - I love how the inner monologue of Chu Yu is written, so that it could also be interpreted as the narrator voicing his own thoughts. I caught myself thinking “the narrator is funny” several times, before figuring out that this was actually Chu Yu thinking.
World - Not sure about this point. I would have probably liked the world if it were described better at times.
Fights - The fights were actually really fun to read. Very simple, yet entertaining.
Characters
Chu Yu our main guy - A simple soul that did not particularly receive a privileged treatment from mother nature when he was created; a moron I gladly adopted within seconds. We must be related I think. I love him. Why? Well, I can complain about cliches all I want, at the end I always end up liking the most cliche characters (Chu Yu) or the biggest or craziest villains. I loved the fact that he did pretty much gave up on his aloof act. I don’t think I would have liked reading about another unapproachable older and wiser figure transmigrator. BTW pretending to be dead to avoid the enemy could be a genius move from me, love you for that lil brother. It was also nice that he got the protagonist plot armor at some point.
Xie Xi our mains love - At the beginning he was “The Cutest™ with cheeks made for pinching” and later became “naughty flirting master say one word and I'm all yours”. No but honestly, at 16 he already had the flirting skills of an immortal master! It made me a little uncomfortable to be this into his flirting. Even if you don't give this book a chance, then at least read the wine incident (chapters 16 - 18). I'm still blushing thinking about it. I once wrote and am still standing by it:  "Xie Xi, you are not flirting with me and aren't even real and yet I’m blushing like crazy. How about you grow up a little and then come to reality and pay me a visit" And honestly he only got a) better at it and b) more blatant over the course of the novel.
For the rest ... Even though there were characters that did not get enough screen time or story, there were a few that I really really loved, like Wei Ciyin (a sensual lil bastard), Demon Lord Yan Heng (I mean wouldn’t you fall in love with a stunning demon lord whose laughter sounds like crows above a burial mound in the middle of the night?) and Fu Zhongyi (you beautiful creature, you and your lil adorable fox awwww). Worth mentioning:
007 System - My queen! (I decided it had to be a woman.) I loved that there was a comment function in this system. Although towards the end it wasn't used as much and in general it could have been used more effectively in my opinion. Nevertheless, a nice touch.
Chu Sheng - If you think Chu Yu is dumb, well then just wait til you get to know his overprotective brother. He would even win an idiot competition against me, which should tell you all you need to know. Love him nonetheless. Also he deserved better! To have to do the things he had to, is really devastating! I am a proud member of the “protect Chu Sheng squad” and will forever love the fact that Fu Zhongyi exists!
Insects (would you count them as characters?) - You know what, I have no issue with insects in general, but swarming insects are a thing I could gladly live without. There were a few chapters that gave me the creeps. I guess this would be called good writing, as it arouses emotions from the reader. It had the same effect as the face disease in Tian Guan Ci Fu on me. So a “negative” good I guess?
Couples
Main couple - First and most important Koala snuggling will never be a boring couple trademark. I was a little nervous that the beginning would drag and we would have to watch a 13 years old child falling in love with a grownup for too long. So I was glad they skipped that part soon. They got together quite fast after the skip, which was more of a negative thing for the overall story, but it also was kinda nice to read more on how they grew as a couple. For example how Chu Yu showed more and more love over time. So even though the story suffered it was kinda nice to follow this couple.
Other couple - Chu Sheng and  Fu Zhongyi were even a better couple in my opinion, but unfortunately we didn’t get enough of them.
Side-plots - A few side-plots were kinda nice I must say, but could have had more detail and better transitioning into the big plot.
The bad:
Writing style - The writing style, or maybe partially the translation (which I don't believe as they did a terrific job with SVSSS), is not my thing. Short sentences, with little to no flowing transitions in the writing. Many things don’t get describe at all, like the surrounding, the looks of characters or any background information about why certain things were happening. But it is quite an easy read, maybe exactly because it’s written this simply. Still it took me a little to get used to it and finish it.
Pace - The time jumps were, well how to describe it? Sudden, weirdly placed and paced and mostly never really effectively used for shock effects (even though the author surely had those intentions). There was this one jump where Chu Yu was talking with Wei Ciyins father (forgot his name) and then it just cut the scene to the future and it never got resolved satisfyingly. It should have been important, but when it was mentioned again later it was just ... well boring.
World - As written above, the world was not really described in detail, so I’m not sure about this point.
Characters
The novel had a decent amount of characters and should have been able to build their side stories properly, however, was not able to deliver many details for most of them. I think only for that reason I was kinda bored whenever Shizun Lu Qingan or what was his boyfriends name again appeared.
Chibi Chu Yu was fun, but stayed for far too long for my taste.
Xie Xi - At times he didn't seem very bright, which put me off somehow. After he got together with Chu Yu he lost most of his "screen time" and whenever he appeared it was just to ask for fish (papapa). To be honest the plot could have ended without him, as he had no importance in the second part of the novel, which was very mehh I mean why write a strong, charming, troubled and loving character and just make him this second grade s** obsessed fangirl annoying our main guy. Okay, yes, he did that to Song Jingyi and had one decent high grade fight, but this was not enough for my taste.
Wei Ciyin - I don’t know what it is about picturing Wei Ciyin with his devilishly beautiful face, dressed only in a snow-white inner robe, lying on top of a cluster of flowers while drinking wine, but that part got stuck in my head and I was so disappointed to find out, he was just an unimportant sort of villain canon fodder and had not much of an important story overall.
Villains in general - Well, what to say about the villains? They were strong, mystic, menacing and cruel, but somehow the whole novel felt like the author was not sure who the big bad boss was supposed to be and jumped from one canon fodder villain to another and "killed" off the supposedly strongest villain Demon Lord Yan Heng within 2 chapters. Why? He was amazing! Give me a whole novel about this character only, NOW! In the end there was a red string throughout the whole story, but it was not as good as it could have been, exactly due to the fact that the villains were so unconnected somehow. Well, I should probably mention Song Jingyi, who was a decent a-hole at least.
Couples
Main couple - Even though I was happy we got a time skip early in the story. The main couple got together waaaaaay too early for the story to be able to go on without a very intriguing plot, which the story unfortunately did not have.
Other couples - Even though it seems like a nice fan service, I think it is quite boring to give every character a love interest (reciprocated or not doesn’t matter). So some of them just were kinda meh in the end.
Plot - It felt like the novel was full of subplots. The big plot lost all its drive due to the way the novel was written. At the end of the book you can clearly see a red string throughout the whole story, but while reading it all just felt unconnected, like a collection of short stories. The mains couple love was the driving factor, but the fact that they got together in the first half (or was it even third) just killed the suspense totally and felt like those american shows that drag on for 8 seasons, when you would have loved it to stop at season 3.
But my biggest disappointment in this novel is not what you might think... It is actually this: Xie Xi was asking Chu Yu “let’s do it” like at least 100 times before their first time. So of course I was hoping that before they actually have their first time, Chu Yu asks Xie Xi the same thing in retour. That would have been perfect. At some point he said something like "are you not going to do it”, which was ok, but not THE THING!
Conclusion:
Lots of potential, but not the best. Still I liked it a little. I’d call it guilty pleasure, if for nothing else then at least for Xie Xi.

Honestly crazy how much foreshadowing A Transmigrator’s Privilege has. Rereading and was at the part where Thesilid’s trial happens and the knights who accuse Thesilid keep insisting that he’s the one who caused the dungeon burst even with all the evidence to the contrary and Thesilid doesn’t object. In retrospect it’s so clear that this is referencing that Thesilid is Reed. There’s also a blink and you’ll miss it moment in the Pandora dungeon where Ailette moves to reassure Terry at the bottom of the cliff and feels long hair for a moment. Like there’s so many subtle hints in so many places makes rereading so fun

when you stop and think about it it’s actually ridiculously funny how obsessed w/ ailette tesilid is. like they met twice in the tutorial period, once when they were 10 or something and another time a decade later. ailette saves him twice and shows him Human Kindness (shocking!!1!) and THEN a hundred lifetimes come and go in the blink of an eye, and the only memories tes has of ailette are from 8million years ago and are hella hazy. and YET.
maybe this is a testament to how starved tesilid was for pure human connection. to be able to exist outside the strict gaze of order and goodwill, even with just one person. to be saved, deemed worth saving; to not be seen as a tool but a living, breathing person.
to pick up his sword not for the sake of the world, but for the sake of his world.

ok for all the details in the new s-class heroine chapters my brain could focus on, it chose the rosary rings. specifically the part where tesilid looks at his Religion Stats and sees the thing dragging strict order’s overall grade down is the lack of 8th grade power believers. but standing right next to him is supposedly the saint of the order church??? and he’s seen her power, he knows she’s strong. she’s got 8th grade divine abilities. so the only real answer to this conundrum is that she doesn’t believe in strict order and goodwill which is a HELL of a realization— because doesn’t that mean the god she always talks about could be there and active??? maybe they can talk about her cool new religion??? did tesilid see this or did it (uncharacteristically) fly under his radar????? maybe he just doesn’t want to talk about it while they’re still in demon territory or something but :biting at the bars of my cage: I NEED to KNOW if HE KNOWS!!!!!! this has me hook line and sinker PLEASE . s-class heroine webnovel spoilers
rereading s-class heroine and taking extra notice whenever tesilid and ailette discuss reed and just. crying wtf.
---
"Are you going to fight him?"
"There's no appeasement or compromise with him. His only goal is the destruction of the world.
He's the enemy of the world, so there's no choice but to defeat him. "
"Right. you're on the side of the world."
Tesilid smiled bitterly and turned his head away.
this happens SO many times??? so many little moments where tesilid's silently wondering whether ailette would accept him, but he never says anything so you never realise his train of thoughts until you're on your reread.
moments where ailette is angry and vengeful on his behalf and he looks hopeful and happy. (maybe she would also understand why he did what he did)
moments where she is serious and solemn about reed and you can see him get gloomy - but never at the mention of reed, per say, but at ailette's reaction to the thought of reed. He's always carefully searching ailette's face when he asks about reed. and the knowledge that she knows reed's goals and plausibly also his motivations, and yet sees him as irredeemable. man.
i wanna scream.
i wonder if this tesilid we see is the continuation of the reed that ailette spoke to. does our "17th" tesilid remember ailette's warning, does he remember telling her that he will return after he's destroyed the world to see if she will still reach out to him?
(personally i think he isn't, and he's the original 100th tesilid/reed. he seems a little too uncertain whenever reed shows up. but if he didn't come from the ailette-occupied 100th timeline, that might create a break in the time loop???)

Theory on the timelines in S-Class Heroine
Disclaimer: These are speculations based on the 152 chapters that I’ve read so far.
If you’re a webnovel reader who's read spoilers past Ch152, please don’t confirm or deny anything in this post, thank you <3
If you're a webcomic reader, obviously do not click read more if you haven't read until around chapter 140. I'm so serious it will ruin your reading experience.
Establishing some essentially-confirmed facts/assumptions
Although Ailette hasn't realised it yet, it's already been confirmed by the TM gods that she's not in the 17th timeline. I'm pretty sure she's on the 101st-cum-100th timeline. The 101st Tesilid is the one she saved and is journeying with, while the 100th Tesilid is Reed.
I think what happened when the 101st lived as Reed is that he got sealed by Cardinal Cartelyana and the other 4 heroes into a dungeon. The very same dungeon that Ailette got the save point from; the one with a prisoner that Ailette thought was the boss but which the 3rd person narration confirmed was the prisoner. Ailette closes the dungeon, killing the prisoner and causing her sin counter to become "1". (Although to be fair that 1 might be referring to another incident, since sin can include things other than causing someone's death.)
Tesilid being the dungeon's prisoner explains why he has such a paralyzing fear of the dark and silence - because that's what he dealt with for an unknown length of time. There must've been some kind of mechanism that prevented him from killing himself, because that would have caused him to regress and therefore cut his punishment short.
I think the dungeon must've been one where the flow of time in the dungeon was many times faster than that of the real world. So Tesilid could have spent a million years undying in there, but the world would have progressed by only one second and therefore it has not reached the point of them where Tesilid's death and regression was necessary for it to continue existing.
Exploring Reed’s POV
I used to think it was also possible that the 101st Tesilid we know now had never met Ailette during his run as Reed. This is simply because I was coping (lol) and hoping that Tesilid would never have turned Ailette down the way Reed does in around chapter 136. But I’m pretty sure I’m just being delusional here and that Tesilid as Reed would have in fact been hell-bent on destroying the world even if Ailette was in it, since even Ailette herself doesn't believe that her presence is enough to change Reed's mind. But for this point I’m also mindful that Ailette might be an unreliable narrator who is underestimating how important she is to Tesilid - especially since, on the romance side of things, that’s the dynamic that we’re led to believe is happening. Ailette could also be misreading current timeline Reed because she has only ever known Novel Reed, but having Ailette exist in his memories may have made him different from Novel Reed.
But anyway, I think it's possible to explain why Reed may have turned Ailette down despite having waited so long to meet her and despite (presumably) later clinging to her as 101st Tesilid: the corruption by the Chaos and Evil.
Maybe when Reed died and regressed, he got a new body so the corrupting effect was removed. It seems pretty plausible to me since his appearance is back to normal. But since his powers including his Stigma carried over, the ban on his divine powers as a result of committing countless sins also carried over.
So these are the conclusions/assumptions I've made:
Our Tesilid is the 101st Tesilid. As 100th Tesilid/Reed, he was trapped in the abyss dungeon by Cardinal Cartelyana and others until Ailette stole the save point and killed him, therefore causing him to regress into the 101st timeline.
101st Tesilid experienced everything that 100th Tesilid (Reed) has before, including turning Ailette down.
Therefore timeline 100 and 101 are actually the same timeline where Ailette exists. The 100th and 101st timelines are just Tesilid experiencing them from 2 different points of view.
Don't ask me what happened to 17th Tesilid. Maybe he lived because Reed went to the 101st instead. Probably nothing important happened, although he definitely got traumatized in some way or form as is usual for him.
In that case, I think this what eventually happens in the 101st/100th timeline:
Ailette fails to save Reed, but not for lack of trying. Or maybe she simply didn’t have a direct hand in Reed’s downfall. This makes 101st Tesilid more trusting of her.
Cardinal Cartelyana and others still manage to seal Reed in the dungeon with the save point.
100th Tesilid only regresses and becomes “Ailette’s Tesilid” when his version of Ailette closes the dungeon he is in. Death is the only salvation for current version Reed, since it puts him on the path where he can be with Ailette as his uncorrupted self.
Tesilid of all timelines finally finds eternal rest in the 101st timeline where Ailette lives. (Or he uses the save point and finds a way for Ailette to also live/regress forever with him. Which sounds horrible I’ll be honest. A merry bad ending.)
But I really hope Reed doesn’t get offed like this, because it seems like an awfully terrible and unsatisfying ending for him. (And for me!!!! I am a Reed liker!!!!) Since we don't really know if Ailette will show up for him, when the TM gods have already established that there's only one of her.
I also can’t see Ailette consenting to Reed being put in the dungeon. Especially if she discovers that Tesilid has such a paralysing fear of the dark and silence because of that experience. She was so happy to screw up the tutorial period for him and to step in during the 300th dungeon to ensure he was really okay, I don’t think she’ll let this happen willingly.
So maybe Reed just gets instant death instead, but I dunno what that’ll mean for the next round’s Ailette. What if he wakes up without having the time to reflect on himself and to decide to ‘live a good life this time’. Like I know that I said he was probably this homicidal because of corruption, but what if he just decides to destroy the world more thoroughly instead. Ailette’s presence has proven not to be an effective deterrent.
…so maybe Ailette AND uncorrupted Tesilid would consent to Reed being imprisoned. If only to give him and future Ailette a better chance of following the path they took. I think Tesilid’s word would count for more than Ailette’s too, since Reed is. well. his past self. He’d know him best.
Exploring Tesilid’s POV
Another reason why I thought that maybe current timeline Tesilid hadn’t experienced things from current timeline Reed's POV was because there are lots of times when Tesilid seems uncertain about how Reed and Ailette will interact. Which doesn’t make sense if he had already seen everything happen before through Reed’s eyes.
E.g. when Ailette was going to meet Reed in the Vatican, and he says, "nothing will happen… I think."
And when he's pretty upset at Ailette for using Divine Advent when fighting against Reed at the Magic Republic. He didn't really seem to be taking pre-emptive steps during that fight, which makes me think that he didn't experience this fight before from Reed's POV. Or maybe Reed or Ailette or both did something different this time.
And the fact that Tesilid spends a long time not being sure if he can trust Ailette, but ultimately still choosing to do so. If he were also the Reed we see now, I think he would’ve trusted her because he would've known that Ailette would risk the penalty of a heavenly leak in hopes of steering him, who had already become a mass murderer, down the right path.
But I can also think of other reasons why Tesilid might be hesitant to trust Ailette but still ultimately do so though:
Tesilid-as-Reed did get sealed by the world’s heroes, but he did not know whether Ailette was still on the uncorrupted Tesilid’s side. So he thinks that he can probably trust her now that he’s uncorrupted and she thinks he's the 17th round Tesilid, but he does not have proof.
Maybe 101st Tesilid has changed this timeline so much that a lot of things are progressing differently from what it had during his POV as Reed. As the person with the most information, 101st Tesilid is unexpectedly actually the person most in control of the current time loop. If he had already seen everything Ailette and Reed would have done, he is free to choose whether to follow in the footsteps of the "Ailette's Tesilid" that he fought while living as Reed.
Maybe he decided not to do things the same way as the ‘future Tesilid’ he saw did, so to him ‘the plot he is familiar with has changed’ ((Tesilid is so regressed FML vibes… even his propensity to be the damsel in distress who needs constant rescuing)). Since Tesilid is someone who is accustomed to trying different things in every time loop, I don’t imagine that he’ll stop experimenting in this round - especially if he had experienced a future where Ailette is in danger. Or if uncorrupted Tesilid actually died in his timeline as Reed. Or something equally horrible like that.
So in conclusion, my predictions are:
Ailette fails to save Reed, but not for lack of trying. Or maybe she simply didn’t have a direct hand in Reed’s downfall. This makes 101st Tesilid more trusting of her.
Cardinal Cartelyana and others still manage to seal Reed in the dungeon with the save point. Maybe Ailette and uncorrupted Tesilid agree because it’s timeout for Reed so he can calm down before he meets Ailette again.
In the previous timeline that current timeline Tesilid was in (the one where he was Reed), some bad things probably happen to Ailette and other people he cares about. Tesilid is probably taking steps right now to ensure things don’t turn out the same way, and he is already seeing the butterfly effects as of the Magic Republic dungeon burst arc.
Anyway I think it is so funny if Ailette actually does appear in both Tesilid’s 100th and 101st timelines. It’s almost like SHE is the character who has a fixed setting in every timeline, and Tesilid is the MC being isekai’d with knowledge of how the future could unfold. They’re so crazy for this if this really happens. I really love how both Tesilid and Ailette are main characters with so much agency.
But anyway if this doesn’t happen I will be pretty sad lol and please feel free to write fics or something based on this.
