The door swung open, almost taking him with it, but he just barely managed to catch himself. His sharp eyesight spotted a figure on his frayed couch that shouldn’t have been there and straightened up with adrenaline, putting his fists up and shouting. “Who’s there, and why are you in my apartment?!” There was no reply, and he smacked one of his hands blindly against the wall until he flipped on his light switch. The sight instantly made him feel embarrassed and confused; on his couch sat some sort of life-sized doll. It definitely wasn’t something that had been in his apartment before, so even if it wasn’t a person, someone still entered his space without him knowing.
