Here are my characters Dent & Vid dressed as Nate & Hovernyan from Yo-kai Watch: The Movie.

The adaptations of/canonical stories of games with multiple playable protagonists should focus on both. I adore Yokai Watch but the anime did Katie so fucking dirty and, by proxy, her and Nate's friendship. In the games, they feel like genuine friends who run in the same circle. But not in the anime, and I'm upset because they totally could've had them BOTH be the protagonists who are given watches and made to interact with the world and each other in a unique way to the games but instead Katie's just this girl Nate has a crush on with a tiring joke about him being average. They don't even feel like friends in the show, it feels like they have mutual friends in Bear and Eddie and that's how they run in the same circles. Boo.

Yall why'd I have to get hyperfixated on Yokai Watch again I haven't thought about it in YEARS until I decided "Hey I never played the 3rd game, let's do that" Now I'm obsessed.

Was I supposed to learn only a few days ago that the new Yokai Watch movie trailer was about a battle royale with the two most famous yokai of the franchise to very probably decide the fate of a desintagrated/kidnapped/posessed Enma ??

Also I perfectly know it's not accurate, so if anyone was able to watch this movie, could you please tell me what's really going on ? ;-;

The second Yo-kai Watch anime movie, Yo-kai Watch the Movie: Lord Enma and the Five Tales, Nyan!, is the first time Nate and Hailey (and therefore, their Yo-kai companions) interact in the anime series. The last episode to air before it was the 98th, and Usapyon and Hailey debut in the 77th episode, marking a twenty-one episode gap between Hailey and Usapyon's debut and this interaction.
