Why do you want to play this character? Well you’ve probably noticed in Riley’s threads I mention her now and again and I just sort of built up this image in my head?? I tried to resist writing a bio for her but I couldn’t?? I am weak. And my activity will be perking back up now bc my course is only 2 days a week now instead of 3 and I’ve cut my work hours bc stress

Personality:

Growing up in the hunter life gave Lucy a thick skin from a young age. She was exposed to the monsters of the world and because of it became well guarded. Whilst she’s openly playful and friendly her attitude can change at the drop of a dime. She’s tough, smart and when she needs to be she can be cruel. There’s a lot of pain and grief in her heart but much like her brother, she hates to show it. Lucy will always hide behind the mask she wears so well, most likely even if she trusts you. She doesn’t like to appear weak through fear of being exposed and made vulnerable.

Past:

Lucy was born in Ireland to a happily married hunter couple. She, along with her older brother, Riley, were unplanned but absolutely wanted and loved unconditionally. They were raised in the hunting life and spent a lot of time on the road. Their parents are decent people but given their job, Riley basically raised Lucy himself, despite only being a few years older. The child of a hunter is never really a child, after all. Because of it though, she and Riley are thick as thieves and twice as smart. There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for her brother so when tragedy struck? Lucy was a hot mess. A vampire had killed their Uncle and put Riley on life support for three months. Luckily he recovered but when he woke it was Lucy who had to tell him Linc had died. The day still haunts her because it was also the first time she had ever seen her brother cry. Lucy was only 16 at the time and she was so traumatized by the events that she’s the main reason their parents quit hunting to live a normal life. Their father didn’t take any convincing, the loss of his brother paired with almost losing Riley did a number on him and al he wanted was his family safe and alive. So, they all returned to Ireland and became permanent residents once again. It was the apple pie life, for a while.

Much like her brother, Lucy became restless. She had no idea what direction to take her life in or even how to channel all her grief and anger. She joined a boxing gym and it was there that she met her first boyfriend. He introduced her to the races and being quite the adrenalin junkie, Lucy was absolutely sold. Much to her families dismay, she had decided to be a rally driver. Her relationship with her first love lasted a couple of years before she found out he had been cheating on her the whole time. Rather than cry about it, it only made her more career focused and she completed the NASCAR driving course to qualify and build her reputation in the field. She studied the mechanics, competed in some local races until she got noticed by a professional who took her under his wing. Lucy has spent the last five years working with and for him, earning her money on the track as much as in the garage creating the perfect race cars for the local competitors.

She’s completed various courses in racing, mechanics and just recently, qualified to be a driving instructor. What her family doesn’t know is that her boss is a crook. He sets up illegal races for big bucks and uses Lucy as his main driver because of her skills. She’s yet to lose a race. The thrill of it is what she loves the most and obviously, the money. She has a secret intimate relationship with her boss, even though he’s 15 years older and married with two kids. It doesn’t bother her like it should but she keeps it a secret to avoid the judgement of her family, especially her brother. Unbeknown to everyone, Lucy still trains to keep fit and occasionally hunts when she’s feeling angry and can’t find another way to calm down.

Present:

After her bosses wife found out about their affair, she made sure to set him up good and called the police to tip them off about the location of one of his less than legal races. Lucy managed to get away but her boss wasn’t so lucky. Her parents were obviously mortified and though she wanted to come clean about everything she knew she couldn’t. It would hurt them too much to know she willingly participated and so, she lied through her teeth and pretended to know nothing about it. Needing a break from it all, she packed a bag hit the road, heading straight for Mystic Falls to surprise her brother, who, she knew would have his own questions. But at least he wouldn’t judge her like she secretly feels her parents doing.

The Winchesters, The Browns, The Maddox’s - Knows them through the hunting life, considers them all family and trustworthy.

Belle Taylor - Is curious about her garage and plans on asking if she can help out whilst she’s in town.

Hattie Brent - Finds the girl quite odd yet weirdly charming, too.
