#though part of the problem with bloodborne was. As I've said before. So fucking scary#'but eventually something just clicked' is also very true#at some point dying over and over again. Having to get past the same enemies over and over again.#Well the Yharnamites eventually just became guys. The trolls are just trolls. I learned to fight them better while preparing for Gascoigne#By the time I got to old Yharnam I was feeling pretty good about myself#I think Gascoigne is like. The hardest boss in the game possibly like just as a base. A lot because of the goddamn arena#and then of course you can't really grind or empower yourself in any meaningful way like you can later in the game#You're just stuck and you have to get through it. And eventually I did!#And now look at me. I look forward to Malenia fights.
