René Descartes is a French mathematician, physicist and philosopher.

He is considered one of the founders of modern philosophy. He remains famous for having expressed in his Discourse on Method the cogito “I think, therefore I am”, thus founding the system of sciences that he represents to himself.

In the montage that is proposed to you, you can find our character in full reflection as well as his most famous text.

Finally, in the philatelic field, a stamp of 1938 issued by France which is found incorporated in this assembly.
